Beautiful home on the Madison River, we sat on the covered porch enjoying the wildlife most of the time. A very inviting family home. We will be back!
We recently spent a wonderful week of family vacation at the beautiful Spruce Grove Lodge. Everything was just perfect and we couldn't be happier with our stay.
Such a gorgeous location right on the Madison River . Absolutely breathtakingly beautiful.
The home (we called it the CABIN) was very well appointed with everything a family could
possibly need. There were 6 adults & 2 children & we all had plenty of room. I especially
appreciated that we could all have meals together at the large dinner table, & had a beautify large GREAT room with wood burning fireplace to relax in in the evenings
There is also a big covered deck with nice grill and plenty of comfy chairs to relax in.
We made several day trips to Yellowstone National Park, Virginia City, and of course
beautiful Ennis, but with fishing right in our own property I really enjoyed staying there the best.
We would definitely love to return and plan to. I would highly recommend the Spruce Grove Lodge to everyone. It was perfect!!!
To the owners, a big THANK YOU for sharing such a fabulous place
PS the coffee maker was awesome-We will be back
We had 6 adults and 2 children and we had a great time. I researched our vacation for nearly a year before our stay at Spruce Grove and finally settled on this great home. From the start, our contact for the rental, Cynthia, was outstanding and answered all my questions and concerns quickly. I even asked about a coffee maker, as our family has a bit of a coffee habit. She had a brand new 12 cup coffee maker for our use. She was great to deal with and very helpful.
The setting is very private with the home situated right on the Madison River. Surrounded by large trees. You would be hard pressed to find a better home, location and atmosphere on the Madison than Spruce Grove has to offer, especially for the price. It is a very nice log home with more than plenty of room for our three generations of families to enjoy our vacation for the week. The home provided everything we could need for a great stay. Fishing off the front covered deck was great and just walking the long meandering, wooded driveway was fantastic.
Do yourself a favor. Book this place and I promise you will not be disappointed in your stay. We, for sure, will be back.
This was a beautiful place. It is directly on the Madison, and we all enjoyed the view. My adult sons love fishing the Madison. We saw several deer, and grandsons spent lots of time catching frogs by the pond. We had 6 adults and 2 children and were comfortable. We felt it was a great location. It was also very clean and filled with books about Montana and fly fishing that we all enjoyed. We built a fire each night (in June) and roasted marshmallows. We made so many great memories at Spruce Grove.
