Rental property review

Our family was so pleased to stay at the lodge. They were excited about the rustic decor of the rooms and the over all cleanliness of the lodge . Very professional. Thank you so much

Beautiful house with easily access to canyon lake

  • 5 of 5

Wonderful vacation home with access to lake and New Braunfels. Owners may consider updating information on how to access lock box and code. Otherwise the place was wonderful!

Perfect stay

  • 4 of 5

My group and I came in town to enjoy some tubing and music, and the location of this property was absolutely perfect -- just a five-minute drive from everything we had planned. The house itself has plenty of room, was well maintained and comfortable, and has a great deck with a decent view. The price and accommodations were exactly what we wanted, and Tamra responded almost immediately to a couple of minor issues that we had. I would stay here again and recommend it without hesitation to anyone else.

a sweet little spot

  • 4 of 5

We stayed here for a weekend of tubing and a concert at Whitewater Amphitheater. It was a great location for what we had planned. Deer were outside, the patio was a nice set-up with what would be a great view of the lake ( the trees do need to be trimmed some ). The beds are AMAZING!!! (Tempur-pedic) I slept so good! Everything was clean, so I'm not sure what the other folks were complaining about?

I will definitely go back here and I already gave the info to some friends :)

Very Disapointing

  • 1 of 5

I was very disappointed in this property. The pictures are very deceiving. You cannot see the lake from this property unless you stand on your tippy toes in far corner of the deck. The view is of over grown tress and a transformer. The dishes were filthy, extremely filthy. Every dish taken out of the cabinet had to be washed before use. The kitchen was not stocked as advertised, no paper towels, no toaster, minimal items, we had to improvise at every meal. They should spend less on their decorations and more on stocking the kitchen with necessities. The property was also dirty, there were dirty towels hanging on the bathroom door, the floor was so dirty that our feet turn back from walking on it barefooted. We had wear shoes in doors. For the amount of money they are charging per night, I would expect so much more, we would not recommend or be back.

Owner's Response: Well, I will respond to this review since it is from the same guests as previous review. Clearly not an adult or a very immature person. I feel if it were true that there was "rat poop" and "roaches", and "Dirty towels" then we would have been the first to hear about it. I cannot believe you would have stayed for even one minute, yet you stayed the entire reservation and never even made mention to us that there was ever a problem with anything. I believe I would have received a call from someone asking us to to come and re-clean the home, which we would have done so immediately, or to give you a 100% refund. We want to spoil our guests and owners by making everything special for them when they arrive. We are more than happy to come back out and walk through the home with you and let you tell us if you are not satisfied, and we give you every opportunity to do that too. We steam mop every floor, sanitize and sterilize everything from top to bottom in every home we manage. We run a very professional business and would not be where we are today if we did not. "What a drag" this review is! What a complete fabrication! We know our previous guests and future guests will clearly see through this juvenile review and will continue to be loyal us.
