Clean, excellent condition, conveniently located to restaurants along the Thames Walk and the tube station and busses. Perfect week and we even had really great weather to enjoy the lovely deck. I will recommend it to my friends.
Two thumbs up in Bermondsey.
From meeting the owner to checkout we had a wonderful time exploring and enjoying London and the Burroughs.
Location on the Thames with a terrace. Close to tube and London Bridge. Lovely!!
Lovely apartment. Perfect for my daughter and me. In walking distance to many of the sites we wanted to see and experience. Loved taking a walk along the Thames and grabbing breakfast nearby to people watch. The new footbridge made this very convenient. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. Janet met us at the apartment and helped us to get oriented to the surrounding area. Though our flight was delayed, she happily waited for us.
Apartment in London
Great host nice apartment. Not really the view the ad suggested... and a 15 minute walk to the tube at the start and end of each trip - Bermondsey is like staying in Queens when all the activities are in Manhattan
Nice apartment with river view.
Good one bedroom apartment with terrace. Good bed, handy to tube and central London. Close to Thames Path and a Tesco.
Wonderful 2 weeks
The property is in a very quiet neighborhood which is close to the tube station. Janet gave me detailed maps on where things were in London which was very helpful. I was traveling alone and felt safe going out to eat. There are several restaurants within walking distance and good store around the corner. I would definately stay there again.
The Jubilee Walkway and the Thames Riverside Path are designed to connect the majority of London's famous landmarks such as Tower Bridge, The Tower of London, Southwark Cathedral,The Tate Modern, Shakespear's Globe Theatre, St. Paul's Cathedral and the London Eye - all within walking distance of the apartment. Visit the nearby Mayflower Public House named after the ship which first set sail from the Thames to Southampton to carry the 'Pilgrim Fathers' to America and the Brunel Museum which tells of the World's first under river Tunnel built in London in 1842 by Isambard Kingdom Brunel and his Father Mark. Relaxing cruises depart regularly from the Tower of London Pier or St. Katherine's Dock Pier to the imposing Houses of Parliament at Westminster or the Royal Naval College and Observatory at Greenwich. With its wealth of history, London is acknowledged as one of the most important cultural Cities of the World. Every step you take captures your imagination and the sense of well being and excitement it creates is 'magical'. Its a fantastic City.
