Welcome to the Austin Railyard! Property is licensed for short term rental as required by the City of Austin. Maximum occupancy is 6 guests.

Gated complex in the heart of downtown and next door to the Austin Convention Center. It's walking distance to 100+ downtown restaurants/bars, Congress Avenue, Second street district, Warehouse district, Downtown 6th, newest Rainey Street area, and Lady Bird Lake.

A longer walk or short cab ride away is the Whole Foods headquarter store with many made to order food bars! Cross the bridge for access to South Congress Avenue's funky and trendy shopping and many original Austin eats! Easy access to Zilker Park, Barton Springs area, Auditorium Shores, and new areas on the East Side!!

Sound reducing windows added throughout.

Secure wireless internet (50 Mbps). Not shared with other units and ethernet access

This condo accommodate 6 adults and is fully furnished. Central AC, washer/dryer, and flat screen with 75+ channels.

No car is needed if you want a pedestrian friendly opportunity! But if you rent a car, then complimentary secured/gated parking is available on site.

CapMetro Airport Flyer runs every 30 min to/from Austin-Bergstrom Airport and Condo for only $1.75. Condo also walking distance to the MetroRail and Austin B-cycle rental program.

Property has a professional property manager and sound reducing windows added to all bedrooms.

Please - No Smokers and Wild parties - do not book if you cannot adhere to no loud parties/noise, especially in the common outdoor areas.

No Pets

The unit may not be leased for a party. It's a great home and home base for people wishing to visit Austin and stay downtown. Walk across the street to one of the bars for time to be loud and crazy.

About The Owner

My wife and I lived in this unit for 4+ years. We moved as we need a bigger place and my wife wanted a yard. While downtown, we enjoyed being able to walk to so many restaurants, nightlife, going to festivals like SXSW, ACL, Pecan Street, to name a few. We spent a lot of time on the lake doing dragonboating (think canoe with 20 paddlers) and running on the trails. Recently we've enjoyed the new areas of Rainey, new restaurants on the East Side, and being here for the many smaller festivals they have downtown.

The Owner purchased this condo in 2006

Clean, Inviting, Central Location

The property was very clean (including the back of the head board!). There were some expired food items left and half used toiletries but it wasn't a huge deal. I appreciated the ease of access to everything and the information given. The most annoying things yet easy to adjust to were​ that the toilet paper kept coming off the holder in the master bathroom, the washer door didn't shut unless you lifted it a but and shut it as well as the main door doesn't lock unless you pull it and hold it shut while turning the deadbolt. I'd highly recommend anyone to come here again.

Modern, Clean and Great Location

Myself and two business colleagues stayed here while visiting Austin for a conference at the Hilton. The location was perfect and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The accomodations were very clean, modern, roomy and comfortable! We had a great stay and a great time thanks to the great place we stayed!

Fabulous location where you can walk to everything downtown. No car needed.

Absolutely loved the location. Never used our car because you had the clubs, restaurants, hike and bike, and sites within a few blocks. This place is very clean and has everything you might need in the kitchen if you choose to cook. Being located on the first floor it's a straight shot into the unit from the parking area. Only had a few yards to carry our suitcases to the front door. Liked being in a secure area with a coded gate to enter the complex and a remote to park. Appreciated the maps and brochures left in the unit for tours and information. This was our first booking using Airbnb and it won't be the last. I had a hotel reserved but this was so much better and I would definitely try to get this place again in the future. The owners were very prompt getting back to us with a few questions we had. Everything we were hoping for!

This condo is beautiful. It is clean and the location is great! Loved having a starbucks across the street. It is a little loud at night, but we expected that...bring your sound machine! The beds are very comfortable, which was a huge plus!
