About the property

3 Bedroom House Within Walking Distance Of Many Attractions

This Queen Anne Victorian home was built in 1897 and still maintains many original features but includes recent upgrades. Walk inside the enclosed porch and enter into the dining area (seating for 6-10) which also has a desk workspace. The living room is next to the dining area and has 11' ceilings with new furniture (sofa has pull-out queen bed) and flat screen TV with Netflix Instant Service and cable. The master bathroom has been completely remodeled and is very spacious. Walk through a walk-in-closet to the master bedroom, which has a new king-sized foam bed from Serta. The laundry room is conveniently located near the master bedroom. The kitchen is fully stocked and has stainless steel appliances and small eat-in area. A Keurig coffee maker is available at the coffee station as well as a French press and a standard drip coffee maker.

Upstairs there are two more bedrooms and a (small) full bathroom. The queen room has a crib if needed and the other bedroom has a set of twin bunk beds.

A queen air mattress can be provided upon request. Please contact the owner about parties larger than six.

Two cruiser bikes and a bike trailer are available for exploring the downtown area. Please contact owner about accessing them.

Please be aware that our staircase is historic and therefore rather steep. It may not be suitable for the elderly.

NOTE: If this property is already booked by someone else for the dates you require, please check out our other property - VRBO #592498. It is also located downtown and is similar in size.

Last minute weekday discounts might be available - contact owner for details if this applies to you.

Perfect stay!

  • 4 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay at this Victorian house, it really did have everything we needed. We were traveling with three adults, an infant, and a four year old. We had plenty of room and my daughter loved all the toys! We were having internet issues keeping us from being able to work in the evening, I contacted the owner and they took time out of their day to meet with the cable people to fix the problem. The only reason why I gave this house a four is because the bed upstairs was very firm and uncomfortable. Of course bed firmness is a personal preference and it's impossible to please everyone in this department.

CLEAN, SPACIOUS and COMFORTABLE

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I stayed at this cottage for 4 nights while exploring the GJ area for potential relocation. Great place to use as a base. Classic charm with modern conveniences and nicely decorated. Being able to garage our car was a bonus. Will rent again , (if available as it appears very popular) for our next visit to GJ.

Thank you so much for sharing your home. Comfortable beds, very clean, super cute style, loved all the details and peraonal touches. Felt like a home rather than a rental full of leftovers and cast offs. Would definitely stay again if in the area and would be interested in the owner' other property if we ever travel through that area.

Really enjoyed it!

  • 4 of 5

We were four librarians from Denver in town for a conference and this was totally fit our needs. It was roomy and allowed us each some space. It was not only close to the conference location (the college campus) but also to downtown for food and shopping.

Our only concern were the steep steps to the upstairs bedrooms. Those would not have been good for less mobile people but worked out ok for us.

This house was bright, sunny and clean. Our group of 2 adults and 4 children were perfectly comfortable with plenty of dishes, cooking utensils, beds, pillows, and seating. The location was convenient for our outdoor pursuits which included mountain biking and climbing.
