About the property

3 Bedroom, 2 Bath With Hot Tub And Expansive Deck Overlooking Water

Located on the banks of the Monomoy tidal river (aka Muddy Creek) that flows to Pleasant Bay, this 3-bedroom getaway is the perfect retreat for kayakers and birders. View the swans and other waterfowl from the the new 6 person Hot Tub on the gorgeous mahogany deck. Enjoy your own waterfront access--- take a spin in the canoe included with the rental (big enough for 2 or 3 people), or take in the view by the fire pit at the water’s edge. Located in a quiet neighborhood that is perfect for biking or walking, vacationers are nearly equidistant to all that Chatham has to offer: Pleasant Bay (2 mi), Nantucket Sound Beaches (3.5 mi) or Chatham Center (3 mi).

This cozy house features a wonderful living room fireplace, with lots of fire wood in the woodshed. The open floor plan is perfect for an evening of cooking, eating and relaxing by the fire.

The master bedroom with queen bed has its own bathroom and private balcony overlooking the river. The second bedroom (queen bed) and third bedroom (2 twins) share a recently updated bathroom. For additional bedding options, there's a double pullout couch and a twin-sized throw mattress.

About Natalie Fuller

New Years in Chatham is always a special time. Last year, we honored the Ecuadorian tradition of making a New Year's muñeca doll (this year's muñeca was shaped as a reindeer) filled with New Year's resolutions (and regrets from the old year) written on scraps of paper. The muñeca was burned at midnight to welcome the New Year.

Why Natalie Fuller chose Cape Cod

The layout of this house encourages lots of family togetherness time, with open living room and expansive deck. But, there are also plenty of cozy spots to curl up with a book or enjoy a quiet moment on the balcony off the master bedroom, in the screened-in sunroom or in a shady spot by the river.

What makes this house unique

Staying in this house has opened our eyes to the diverse Cape Cod waterbirds. The river is a veritable highway for heron, osprey, swan and other water fowl. One of our favorite activities is to sit by the river with a glass of wine in the evening and literally feel the breeze off the wings of the low flying birds as they navigate the river, inches from the water's surface.

Great Cape Cod Getaway.

  • 5 of 5

The property is well maintained and was in move in condition. All the amenities were provided to get started for the

week, from all the kitchen needs, to paper products, to clean and ample linens, to games. The canoe and Kayak were clean

and positioned at the shore line for immediate use, with the owner supplied paddles and life jackets.

The house was as described in the listing with good size rooms for everyone. The deck, grill, and hot tub were very clean

and fully operational with plenty of seating and space overlooking the waterway. The fire pit was located in a great setting next to the waterway.

Conveniently located close to grocery and liquor stores, all are easily accessible, along with centrally located on the Cape. The owners were very responsive for all communications and recommendations we had asked about.

We would definitely look to rent this home again on our next visit.

Wonderful Labor Day Weekend Escape

  • 5 of 5

This lovely home was even better than advertised - perfectly situated on a pretty creek with a very secluded backyard. The house was immaculate, the bedding divinely comfortable, and the hot tub and deck perfection. The owner went out of her way to make out stay comfortable and homey - we'll be back!

Wonderful, quiet, clean

  • 5 of 5

The property is as advertised. Secluded neighborhood, close to restaurants in Chatham and Harwich. Access to Chatham beaches 10- 15 minutes, ocean beaches- 20 minutes.

This is a nice house, it is clean and well maintained. The deck overlooking the estuary is really nice. The hot tub on the deck was clean and worked well, again great view from the tub with ample privacy.

Canoe and kayak are right next to the water for some great paddling.

Lovely Quiet Wheelchair-accessible House

  • 5 of 5

Natalie's house on the Monomoy river is a lovely, quiet, and rare fully wheelchair-accessible retreat. The house has a ramp from the driveway into the house, making it accessible with a power or manual chair. Living space is all on one floor. The deck is large and gorgeous, although the classy and modern outdoor spa is down a flight of steps. Dining and living rooms are spacious, and the screen porch is a very pleasant amenity to spend time reading, browsing or napping. Bathrooms are tight but manageable for wheelchair users, as doorways are more than 24 inches wide. Bedrooms are adequate for wheelchairs. Beds and furnishings are very comfortable. Natalie is a wonderful host, providing all the support and local guidance that one could possibly ask for. Highly recommended! Especially for disabled folks!

Perfect Cape Cod Experience

  • 5 of 5

This home was absolutely lovely and exactly as described online. It was comfortable, homey, and well set up for a family vacation. We loved the peaceful neighborhood and backyard area. Access to the river was great (as were the canoes that were provided!) Natalie was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. My whole family loved it. I can't say enough good things.

Fabulous stay

  • 5 of 5

Our whole family loved Natalie's place. With two teenagers and a younger child the outdoor deck, hot tub, river access with kayak and canoe was perfect. We did have a fire in the fire pit by the river one night…. great spot! The deck is beautiful, private and very green and lush… all you hear is all the birds around. We had most meals outside. The house is well equipped, charming in decor and we would love to come back for a longer stay. It's also very close to the town of Chatham and beaches right around the corner… Ridgevale is 10 min away. Thank you Natalie and family… we'll keep your place in mind for future Cape Cod vacation planning.
