We enjoyed our stay at this apartment. It was conveniently located near public transportation, bus stop and train stations near by to get us around London easily. We had shower issue (which is something we were prepared for based on previous reviews). The upstairs shower did not have a shower curtain, which caused the floor to get wet after showers. The downstairs shower would get the carpet wet outside of the door. Other than these issues, the apartment was nice and reasonably priced.
Nice comfortable place, has a little terrace for the morning coffee if it’s not raining.
We would rent that flat again. It’s big and light and quite comfortable because there are different rooms.
Pretty much as advertised
This is a good location for touring London. Located just outside London proper access via public transportation is easy. The property is relatively comfortable but could use some additional chairs and shelving to temporarily store things. There's not much space in the bedrooms. As others have mentioned, the one bathroom shower does not drain well and requires towels on the floor to keep the area from flooding. The may have fixed this by now. There was some confusion picking up the keys. The owners instructions indicated we needed to pick up two keys from a location nearby but there was only one key available. We did not know if one key would open the flat so we spent some time trying to figure that out while our hired car was waiting before learning that one key would do the job.
Great location, apartment and price
Nino's apartment in Battersea was perfect for our stay. It's cute with the top floor deck, and it's located on a couple of bus lines that are close to the tube and rail lines. The neighborhood is super safe, and I felt fine walking around with kids at night. There are restaurants and groceries nearby. Check in/out was easy. The apartment is basically two levels from the second floor, wuth one bedroom on the main fliir and the other on the top floor. Rooms were pretty clean and home was mostly stocked. Shower on the main floor was in a wet-room, which I didn't really like and the upstairs tub didn't have a shower curtain so both rooms got wet when in use. No big deal though, there were plenty of towels. Nino was very responsive, a great host. I would stay there again.
4 night Spring Stay 2010
The property was exactly as advertised. Clean and well kept. We were a bit nervous of the area at first, but soon realized we could get downtown in 5 min on a very close bus. And found out it was even walkable. I believe this is an up and coming neighbourhood and is well on its way to becoming a hot area to stay. The 2 bedrooms were very different in size so would be suitable for a couple with kids. We were two friends together, so we had to flip for the supersize master. Was very quiet at night and slept very well. Thank you Nino for your ever quick responses to all of my questions!
Relaxing home base in Battersea
Charming flat, close to everything. It was wonderful to stay in London and enjoy the local breakfast places and the lovely little market. Nino left us clear directions for everything. Really lovely, and definitely a place we will return to.
