The main house, immediate neighbour to the church, dates from 17th c. (ground floor), 18th c (1st floor) and 19th c (2nd floor)-. The annexe in the garden is from 19th c.

The garden is very spacious (abt 600 m2) to be in the centre of a village. There is a big plane three shadowing the outdoor dining area near the kitchen door, a fountain, flower beds and bushes framing the rear walls of surrounding buildings. The garden is lit indirectly and a soft summer evening the old stone walls become magic.

On the north side of the house there is an off-street parking for 2-3 cars, guarded by a padlocked chain and automatic floodlight.

About Christer EHRENBORG

We are both Swedish but have lived the last 45 years in different countries in Europe. Since 1976 we live outside Geneva.

We found the property as a near ruin in 1987. It had not been inhabited since more than 20 years, no electricity, no sewers, 1 water tap. It took us little over a year to make it livable, modernising it whilst preserving magnifiscient old structures.

The house was certainly the main building for an important family in the area. At a period in its history it was a small nun convent and in the first half of the 20th c it served as the village grocery shop. The surrounding building were certainly part of the same family entity and our annexe in the garden was the household stables.

We spend 3-4 months/year there and have had tenants for over 20 years now.

or walk during the day and dine, wine and going to concerts in the evenings.

A well-known British-French actress, who wanted a calm, secluded place to live when she was turning a film in the area.

This is our secondary home. We have furnished it as we want it when we are there, so you would not have the impression this is only used for rental. We have only 400 km to drive there and we use it a lot.

We keep a list of people. who want to buy it, friends, tenants, guests at our dinner parties or other visitors.
