Located the the Famous Garden District, Our place is perfect for large family gatherings, 2 kitchens 4 living areas,,secure gated parking for 2 cars ,great for large groups, lots of outdoor space in the back and front of property with a grill.. There is also a third floor balcony ,,,,,,,,There is a large outdoor front area. Five large bedrooms including 4 queen airbeds. There is also an extra daybed on the right side. This property is close to everything,,,,walking distance to the trolley,,,,, to go downtown,,,,, and 3 blocks from magazine street and all the shops and restaurants there. There are many restaurants on St. Charles ave. as well,,,and we can also help with catering for crawfish boils and more!

Perfect for weddings,,,family gatherings,,,,,minutes to anywhere in the city,,,uptown or downtown. Walking distance to lots of places to eat ,,shop and site see. It's a very historic area and you can walk out of the door and tour on foot this amazing part of the city.

Well located, spacious house. Close to food, shops and street car in the Garden District.

Plenty of room to spread out for our 2 couples and 3 singles. The bed on the first floor was invaluable since one in our group could not manage the very steep stairs, but note the bed on the entry level (one flight of stars up) is totally in the open beside the front door with access only to the guest half-bath. For our close knit group, this was only mildly problematic, but it’s worth noting that the house is not suitable for anyone with mobility problems. No grab bars in the bathrooms. We had a warm welcome and a happy stay.

Great historic property and very accommodating host.

We chose this property because we had family event in New Orleans, planned as a travel destination for many out-of-towners originating from every corner of the county. 5 couples convened here and comfortably stayed on site for 5 nights, and Karen (property owner) went out of her way to ensure everyone was taken care of. The neighborhood is very walkable and fun, and this stretch of the Lower Garden District is THE place to be if you want easy access to the Warehouse District/Convention Center area, Central Business District, and French Quarter, all of which are 1-2 miles away. I would highly recommend this property to groups of a similar size. The accommodations certainly added value to our family get-together. Thank you!

Great family house!

We rented both apartments over Thanksgiving week. Both apartments were clean, spacious, and perfect for two families. It was easy to go back and forth between the two, when necessary. The location was great. We walked to the St. Charles Trolley, up and down Magazine street, and all through the Garden District. I felt bad as our kids were up early (and they aren't super quiet). I am sure we woke up Karen downstairs. That said, the apartments felt private. I would highly recommend!

Amazing house

Our group was 13 girls in our late 20s and honestly we couldn't have gotten a better house. It's beautiful and slept all 13 of us comfortably. Neighborhood is awesome and easy uber ride to bourbon street. The hosts were incredibly helpful with our travel schedules and helping us with catered food. They were flexible and I couldn't speak more highly of this house.

Perfect!

We rented this house for our bridal party and their dates (15 people total) for a three-day weekend. It was perfect! Everyone loved the house and the location. The host was always available and generous with her time, advice, and snacks. Thank you so much for making our wedding accommodations so special and drama-free for our guests. 100% recommend and would be thrilled to stay here again.

Great House, Great Location

This spacious house is a perfect location for easy sightseeing without needing a car. Short walk to St. Charles streetcar line makes trips to the French Quarter easy and inexpensive. We even walked to Commander's Palace for dinner, to Mardi Gras World and to the World War II museum. House is clean, comfortable, and well appointed with nice linens and a well stocked kitchen. This was our second stay here and will definitely use it again when we return to NOLA.
