This is a very spacious queen suite located in a turn-of-century three story Victorian building. Step back into time and stay in this great Inn with character and style. Access to our common area kitchen is just down the hall, in case you want to eat in one night. Free off street parking is provided on the west side of the building. Located on the main floor, you can escape to a relaxing porch or the yard/BBQ area. Restaurants, shopping and nightlife is located only 3 minutes away by foot, One block to the back is a 40 mile trail park for biking, running or walking. The nightly rate includes all fees, taxes, cleaning, internet and private off street parking. Our Inn is adult only (18+). Our Inn does have a secluded 420 friendly lounge on the third floor, for those that choose to visit Colorado to enjoy their legal cannabis. All other areas of the building are smoke free. We believe in a happy, healthy and respectful environment for all.
Hi, I am Andrew, one of the two owners. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Andrew Lofland purchased this studio in 2010
This was a great project to renovate a beautiful turn-of-the century Victorian. We knew that the location just step from downtown, would be ideal for vacationers.
Just walking distance to restaurants, nightclubs, cafes and shops. This price is most affordable in all of Colorado Springs. Very convenient to all the major sites of Colorado Springs.
The Graham suite is quaint and quite. We only ran into one two other people that lived there during our 3 night stay. It has everything you would find in a motel room with private shower and bathroom and a very comfortable bed. I'm comparing this to some bed and breakfasts that have a shared restroom vs. private. There is a shared kitchen area and separate sitting room just off of the kitchen area. There is a larger refrigerator in the kitchen to store items but the room had a small dorm sized refrigerator which is all we needed for a few items.
Regarding the bathroom, we would of liked to see more shelves/storage etc to store the hair dryer, toothbrush and other bathroom essentials. We went in November so the temperatures outside dipped into the 30's. The house has a boiler with steam radiator heat that has no adjustments or temp control so we did get blasted out with the heat at night. We actually had to crack open the window to get some relief. The TV doesn't have a cable connection so you only receive the local HD over the air stations.
We enjoyed the room and our stay in Colorado Springs and would consider staying here again. The price is very reasonable.
What an amazing location. We were able to walk to downtown for dinner every night and enjoy the great restaurants around area. The description of the room is very accurate. It was cozy, and very simple. The only thing that was difficult at times was when I had a couple questions about the place and I contacted the owner Andrew and the number listed for Rachael, and neither of them would return my call. Other than that, we had a great stay.
Great location, clean and comfortable. I will return!
When we first walked into the place, our reaction was "what did we get ourselves into". But we gave this old place a chance and it didn't disappoint. It may be old, but it was clean and bug free, what more can you ask for. As for us, without a second though we'd rent this place out again in a heartbeat. Wife and I liked it better then staying in a hotel room and I'm sure we'll be back for another stay in the future. We had a great time at the Garden of Gods, and next time in I think we're going to hike up Pikes Peak.:-) Lots of nice breweries walking distance from the house that we also indulged in. We'll be back for sure.
The house is an old victorian that could use more renovation. It was suitable for the price. The stairs were a bit of a problem for us,but we're old.We had a problem with the plumbing. The inn keeper wasn't available,so I called the owner and he was able to reach the inn keeper. She tried to fix the problem, but had to call for help. After a couple of hours, the problem was fixed.Overall, I would say that this is an acceptable property. The neighborhood was nice and not far from attractions.
Just steps from great restaurants and shops, parks and walks.
