About the property

3 bedroom + loft / 3 bath townhouse - Sleeps 8

Located in the heart of Sea Pines Plantation, this custom renovated 2,000 square foot end unit villa features 3 bedrooms, 3 full baths, a cozy loft, and a tranquil golf course view.

Overlooking the lagoon and 12th fairway on Pete Dye’s Heron Pointe Golf course, the view from the oversized deck provides the perfect backdrop for enjoying morning coffee, turtle watching, reading a book or spending a quiet evening with family and friends. Inland Harbour is an extremely well maintained villa complex featuring only (34) units. The recently upgraded swimming pool, (2) complimentary hard court tennis courts and lush “low country” ambience add to the charm and convenience of your Hilton Head Island vacation.

As for the villa itself, a “top to bottom” custom renovation has just been completed. The owner's vision was to set a higher standard by providing guests with luxury accommodations at a competitive price. Every amenity and expectation is provided in this five star villa with nothing left to do but relax and enjoy your time on the island.

Each of the two bedrooms on the main floor include their own full bath, a small deck off the sliding door, new furnishings and a 43” flat screen TV. The golf course view bedroom is equipped with a queen bed while the second bedroom has two twins that can be converted into a “Swing King” (a king sized bed) upon request.

The master suite provides guests with a new king sized bed, a 40' flat screen TV, golf course view, and a beautifully remodeled master bathroom with an oversized walk in shower.

Across the bridge from the master suite is a loft that features a queen sleeper sofa and a comfy chair with ottoman providing for the perfect retreat for some quiet time or a space that can be used for extra sleeping.

The open concept living room overlooks the entire main floor and has an exquisite view of the lagoon and golf course. It features a vaulted ceiling with a lovely view of the overhead walkway that joins the master bedroom and loft. It also provides guests with a 55” flat screen HDTV and well-appointed furnishings, including a second queen sleeper sofa.

The remodeled kitchen offers guests all the expectations of a “dream kitchen” including new cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, a cooktop stove, a built in oven and a built in touch activated microwave oven.

Finally, a plantation shutter clad bay window bathes the dining room in sunlight. There are six dining chairs along with three counter stools overlooking the kitchen for extra seating or for simply enjoying a glass of wine and conversation before dinner.

Lastly, the villa is equipped with a washer and dryer, wireless internet access and guests are welcome to use our complimentary beach chairs at their convenience.

About Jeanie Larson

We are native 'Michiganders' that love to spend our summers enjoying the Great Lakes, but Hilton Head has become our home away from home. We fell in love with the Island back in 1996 during our family's first vacation to Hilton Head. Our love for this unique piece of southeast coast paradise has grown every year since.

Jeanie Larson purchased this townhome in 2013

Why Jeanie Larson chose Island Areas

After months of searching for 'the right place' within Sea Pines, Inland Harbour was the clear cut winner due to it's ambience, charm, cleanliness, and superior location. Inland Harbour is centrally located within Sea Pines plantation allowing for short walks or bikes rides to all that Sea Pines has to offer. Sea Pines Center, with its shops, markets and restaurants is directly across the street while the world famous Harbourtown is a pleasant 5 minute walk from our front door. If its the beach your after, you can bike there in 8 minutes along Sea Pines world class bike paths or enjoy a quaint trolley ride down Lighthouse road to the Beach Club. We have found Inland Harbour to be simply the best all around villa complex within Sea Pines Plantation.

What makes this townhome unique

Sea Pines is both the largest and best known of the vacation destination areas in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Located on the beautiful southern end of the island, Sea Pines is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean and Calibogue Sound, and offers breathtaking views.

Sea Pines is skirted by five miles of pristine, naturally beautiful beaches and intersected by salt marshes and winding fresh water lagoons, providing plenty of boating, fishing and crabbing opportunities. Harbour Town and South Beach Marinas host an assortment of great restaurants, shops, water sports and entertainment. Visitors can tee off on any of three championship golf courses — and, in fact, guests can play where the pros play as Sea Pines hosts the annual RBC Heritage PGA TOUR golf tournament on the legendary Harbour Town Links. Guests will also want to bring their tennis racquets and take advantage of the nationally-recognized Sea Pines Racquet Club. And families and children will love climbing the candy-cane striped Harbour Town Lighthouse or visiting Lawton Stables for trail rides through the Sea Pines Forest Preserve.

Ideal Family Getaway

  • 5 of 5

HHI more than exceeded our expectations and the villa was a perfect home base for our week on the island. We have 3 young children (5 and under) and found plenty of things to do during the week. The bike paths were fantastic so cycling became our main mode of transportation on the island. A simple phone call and bikes were delivered right to the villa, couldn't have been easier. One of our favorite rides was to the Sea Pines Beach club, great spot to spend a few hours enjoying the beach and warm September surf. Be sure to have a drink at the Tikki bar overlooking the ocean, great spot. The kitchen in the Villa is very nice which made cooking a breeze. We love hanging out on the back deck during nap time watching the gators, fish, and turtles. The villa was very clean, and nicely updated with all high end finishes. The size of the villa was surprising, we didn't even use the upper floor! All in all we loved our stay and are going back next September!

Anniversary Stay

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I first stayed in this villa last year for our honeymoon (see our review from last year below). We fell in love with this place instantly. Fast forward one year and we decided to take an anniversary vacation. Hilton Head and this villa specifically, was the first and only place we discussed. Our trip last year was so perfect there was no reason to look anywhere else. Our second trip back did not disappoint. The villa was in the same shape as it was the previous year. Absolutely spotless including some new décor and additional chairs for the back deck. It has everything you would need and has a real comfort to it. It feels like your own. As we did last year, we ate breakfast almost every morning on the deck which over looks the lagoon. Our friend Charlie the alligator made several appearances as did many other wildlife such as the turtles, herons and fish, just to name a few. After breakfast everyday we walked or rode bikes through the trails of Sea Pines. The villa is a 5 minute walk to the famous Harbour Town where we often walked for coffee or a little bit of shopping. One of the highlights of the trip was waking up early one morning and heading down to the beach club to watch the sun come up. Absolutely stunning! We couldn't believe we didn't do this the year before and this is an absolute must for anyone staying here. We also did the sunset cruise which departs from the Salty Dog. This was our favorite night of the while trip, hands down. The cruise serves food and drinks as it takes you around the island and past Harbour Town to watch the sunset. Again, stunning! We saw several pods of dolphins on this cruise and they would swim right up to the boat. It was amazing. This anniversary vacation was everything we hoped and this villa is our official home away from home. We love it here and plan on returning for many years to come. Enjoy your stay!

Fantastic Stay

  • 5 of 5

We loved our week's stay in Inland Harbour. My husband and I, along with our son, his wife, and two young children, were very happy with this condo. The open floor concept gave us so much room that we never felt "on top of each other." The place is beautifully decorated and well supplied with whatever you need. We especially enjoyed the deck which overlooked the lagoon and golf course. We ate breakfast out there most mornings and played games in the early evenings. The bonus room upstairs was the kids' playroom, which gave them a spot away from the adults (and the tv). Pool area was very nice, and we loved being right across the street from the trolley stop. (It's free too!) Loved the bike trails to Harbour Town and the beach. Loved our stay! Would definitely recommend to others.

Perfect Girl's Getaway

  • 5 of 5

My friends and I have been planning a girl's trip for (what seems like) years now! When we finally nailed down Hilton Head as our location, I came across this lovely house.

First of all, I want to give a huge shout-out to the manager of this house, Jeanie. From our first conversation, she was responsive and detailed making the booking process seamless and easy. Upon arrival, we walked into the house to see a welcome gift of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies which were still warm! So unexpected, but immensely appreciated. Throughout our vacation, Jeanie answered any and all questions we had and truly went above and beyond the call of duty. People like Jeanie are hard to come by, and all of her hard work did not go unnoticed.

The house looks exactly like it does in all of the pictures; gorgeous, clean, and well taken care of. It provided us with the feeling of a home away from home. The open floor plan downstairs left plenty of space for congregating, talking, cooking, etc. It was the perfect size for our group of 6. The kitchen was stocked with high end appliances which made cooking easy and fun. Each of the three bedrooms had their own unique charm. They also each had their own bathroom attached, which was fantastic for 6 girls!

The deck/patio overlooking the lagoon was perfect for drinks after the beach/pool and morning coffee with the alligators!

The location was ideal; 5 minute drive to the beach (10 minute bike ride and 20 minute walk), 5 minutes to Harbour town which is full of cute shops, restaurants and bars. There is free parking at the beach club, and if there is no parking available (which there usually was not), there is free parking at the golf club with a shuttle to bring you over to the beach (which is really only about a block away, so it is an easy walk). The Sea Pines Plantation itself is just gorgeous and a great place to stay with lots of things to do; there truly is something for everyone.

Do not hesitate to book this house; you will love it.

Sea Pines Beauty (Honeymoon Stay)

  • 5 of 5

This is the nicest place we have ever stayed at. The villa is completely updated from top to bottom and has that cozy feeling you can only get from being at home. The pictures do not lie as this place is as nice and clean as it appears in the pictures. You will not be disappointed. The kitchen was updated with high end appliances which allowed us to cook some of our own meals. Every morning we made breakfast and had coffee out on the back patio overlooking the lagoon while we observed some incredible wildlife including heron's, turtles, fish and alligators. It could not have been any more perfect. The location of the villa was a 5 minute walk to Harbour Town which had great food, drinks, shopping and entertainment. Also within a few minutes is the Beach Club, South Beach, several golf courses and tons of great restaurants and shopping. After one day at this place my wife and I decided we would never stay anywhere else ever again. This place was perfect! We are already planning our trip back. The owners, Terry and Barb, were so easy to work with and we can not thank them enough for allowing us to create such special memories in their beautiful home.

Ideal Sea Pines Location

  • 5 of 5

The villa/condo was beautiful, welcoming and provided all the comforts of home for our family. The listing photos reflect the villa's tasteful decorating and amenities. Harbour Town, South Beach (the grandkids loved the dolphin cruise and the Salty Dog) and Sea Pines Beach Club venues were easily accessed by bicycle, trolley or walking from the central Sea Pines location of the villa, and were frequently visited during our vacation. The Inland Harbour private pool and tennis courts are a few steps from the front door.

The welcome gift and note from the property manager were unexpected, but very much appreciated. Thank you for making this a memorable Hilton Head visit.

We have been visiting Sea Pines for over 15 years and look forward to returning to this Inland Harbour villa in the near future.
