A large, roomy home located on beautiful historic 2nd Street in Gulfport MS welcomes YOU! From the spacious Southern porch with a Gulf view to the pretty landscaped rear yard with deck to the large open interior there is more room to spread out and relax than you can shake at stick at! Wonderfully and comfortably decorated, there are two living rooms to escape to and take that afternoon nap. The bedrooms are very comfortable with ample storage. Both bedrooms now include 32' flat screen HD TVs with independent cable boxes! And the Kitchen! It has gorgeous cabinetry with all new modern appliances. The rear deck allows for private sunbathing. There are several fruit trees in the back yard including yummy oranges and limes. And - Historic Downtown Gulfport has become the premiere night spot for dining and entertainment with food from Cajun to Italian to Seafood! Take your pick and stroll or drive to enjoy the quaint pubs, restaurants, and outdoor bistros!

Scott & Lynn:

Scott is native to south Louisiana and I grew up in north Mississippi. My grandparents bought this house in 1939 and raised their family here. I grew up spending Spring Breaks and Summer vacations here with my grandparents and have many fond memories of my time here.

Why Nancy Scipione chose Mississippi

Gulfport is a very special place and is doing a great job of bouncing back from the damage of Hurricane Katrina. We enjoy walking along the seawall to Jones park and up and down Second Street (which is lined with beautiful, historical homes), sitting on the front porch enjoying the Gulf view and the nice breezes, and dining out at the fabulous local restaurants - some of which are only minutes away from the house. The beach and a nice neighborhood park are both easy walks from the house.

What makes this house unique

Our Gulfport home was completely renovated and updated thanks to Hurricane Katrina. The kitchen was enlarged and is nice and roomy with plenty of cabinet space and new appliances. The second full bath and a large laundry room were also added. In the yard are several fruit trees and pecan trees.

Beach beauty

Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us. Clean with plenty of room and amedenities for our family of six. We could easily walk to Shaggy's for lunch and dinner at Salute. Both delicious!! We had a great time in Gulfport!!!

Wonderful stay!

Fantastic location and a beautiful house! We were a large family traveling together, and there was plenty of room for everyone! The fenced in back yard was great for our dog, and the remodeled kitchen was awesome for cooking meals for the whole family! Anything we needed was taken care of very quickly. We would highly recommend this location and this house!

Really Nice Rental

My husband and I + our two dogs really enjoyed our recent visit to Gulfport. We checked in after hours and the directions emailed by the manager were great--everything pertaining to check in and out was perfect. This house is very nice, clean, comfortable with lots of room. It was decorated really nice and an easy walk to the beach. The backyard was fenced and was a nice size. We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the rocking chairs sipping wine and watching the activities in the Gulf. We enjoyed great sea food at The Shrimp Basket--wonderful local shrimp and oysters. I have rented many times through VRBO and this was one of the best--Thank you!.

Best ever!

Easy check in and hassle free on our Sunday arrival. House is perfect! Clean from top to bottom with everything you need. I normally do not recommendations lightly but I highly recommend this place for your vacation stay in Gulfport. Just a short walk to the beach and an awesome porch with ocean breeze that is perfect for morning coffee. My kids will remember this place for the rest of their lives. Thanks for the best vacation experience EVER!
