Nice, but....

  • 3 of 5

Great location, cute little cottage, and a friendly, helpful owner. Comfortable bed, but in bad need of decluttering and a good scrubbing. Very dated, and in need of some TLC. We stayed there for 3 weeks and I can tell you that we left it cleaner than we found it.

Wonderful weekend!

  • 5 of 5

The Cottage at Geneva National was perfect for our weekend! The Cottage was very comfortably furnished, with extra towels and linens available, a fully functional kitchen (although we ate out, it was nice to know that we could have stayed in) and a great location. Close enough to Lake Geneva and all the activities in town, yet far enough away to enjoy the peace & quiet. The guys played a round of golf on a beautiful course and saw herons and wild turkeys! The owner, Jim, was easy to work with and a great host. Thank you!

Love the location..

  • 4 of 5

The location of this cottage is perfect when visiting Lake Geneva and want to be close to downtown, but far away from it to relax and enjoy the quietness. The house is a cute cottage, was clean and offered a lot. We had a lot of issues with using the pool. We had to pay a lot of money for a pool that offered nothing more than a pool. We should have been told there was a fee for the pool and how much prior to arriving. I would stay here again, but this time I know what to expect! The owner was very helpful.

Good location, very well stocked nice place. Great time.

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay at Geneva National. It is a small house in a gated community with two bedrooms. We came with our two teenagers to a wedding weekend in Lake Geneva and it was perfect. It was easy to get to all the local beaches and to get back and forth to the action in the town of Lake Geneva. The condo is very well stocked and everytime we needed something - it was there! The beds are comfortable and the kitchen has everything you could need. Jim, the owner is super nice. It was all great!

Excellent.

Spend Fathers Day weekend 2016, with my family. The condo was clean and had everything you would need to enjoy your stay. Short Drive into the town of Lake Geneva. Short walk to the pool for my daughter. We would definitely come back. Owner Jim made everything nice and easy. Thanks Again.

Lake Geneva, Wisconsin: Lakeside Mansions and Historical Museums

Located within 90 miles of Chicago, Milwaukee, and Madison, Lake Geneva has become one of the Midwest’s most popular destinations for recreation. Geneva Lake?a gaping gulf of fresh water ripe for swimming, leisurely sails, water skiing, and tubing?is the resort town’s biggest draw in the summer. Admire the scenery by taking a stroll on the Geneva Lake Shore Path, a 21-mile walkway planned by early settlers that stretches around the entire lake. Along the way, you’ll pass expansive gardens and the opulent estates that helped the town earn the nickname “Newport of the West.”

In the winter, outdoor activities range from sledding and snowshoeing in Big Foot Beach State Park to ice-fishing on Geneva Lake. There's also plenty to do indoors. The Geneva Lake Museum takes visitors back in time with re-created late 19th- and early 20th-century shops, and the 1897-era Yerkes Observatory is home to the world's largest refracting telescope.
