Aloha! Welcome to our second home. Why would you stay at our home instead of another condo or hotel? You like to be pampered, just a bit! Please understand, this truly is our second home, we bought it for our family so we can enjoy the beautiful island of Hawaii and get out the Seattle weather from time to time. Unfortunately, until we get to retirement, we do not get to spend as much time on Hawaii as we would like. Since we are not able to enjoy our home all the time we SELECTIVELY share it with folks like yourself. This is NOT a typical vacation rental, run by a management company, where you are provided with the basic furnishings, a roll of toilet paper and told to have fun. If you are looking for a place to beat up, abuse or party at for a while please move on to another property. We have furnished our home the way we want to enjoy it, you will find spices in the cupboard, quality towels and linens, quality appliances, bicycles, snorkeling equipment, movies, golf clubs, cool bags, beach towels, beach and pool accessories, wireless printer, Blu-ray, Stereos, flat panels and all the little things that make a location a home as well as lots of information that we have learned about the island of Hawaii. Our objective was to be able to get on a plane with nothing more than a Windows Surface, headphones and get off the plane at our home.

So you are looking for a vacation spot, you have heard or maybe been to the islands of Oahu, Kauai or Maui, so why did we choose Hawaii? To be honest, there is so much to do the kids never got bored (well and I like golf). We had vacationed on Maui, Kauai and Oahu just to keep the kids entertained you spent a fortune or they just flat got bored and made the parent part of our vacation miserable. We looked at several locations on Hawaii and decided that we wanted to be close to the beaches. We looked at all the complexes in the area and settled on the Colony Villas because of the community standards, beautiful location and amenities it offered. In our home, you will find books on many of the island attractions. We used them as a guide our first time there. You will also find information that we have collected from our adventures and places we would recommend. We are quite proud of our home and enjoy it immensely, we hope you do as well.
What makes this Townhome unique
Our home is directly across from the Tennis court, main swimming pool, work out facility and BBQs. With the bikes you can get to A-Bay in less than 5 minutes or jump in the car and be at the world class Hapuna beach in 8 minutes. I have coffee each morning and watch the sun come up over Mauna Kea and the golf course from the lanai. UNLIKE OTHER UNITS OR LOCAL HOTELS WE DO NOT ADD A RESORT, INTERNET OR PARKING FEE!!!

This was a great condo, we absolutely loved it. Kitchen/fridge is really well stocked, garage has great and included beach chairs, umbrellas, tennis rackets, boogie boards, bikes, snorkel, golf clubs, etc. Pool and hot tub are both nice. Book it, you won't regret it!
Second time staying here and still amazing.
There are so many great things to say about this townhouse, but I will just say my wife and I are already trying to figure out when we should come back. Thank you Brad for making your place so beautiful and welcoming.

This town house is wonderfully comfortable. It is in a great location for traveling the island to see the sites. Brad is a wonderful host providing all the information you need on the rental. There are bikes and beach toys if needed. Grocery stores and two outdoor malls means everything is close when needed. You can walk or jog the area very safely. The Kings trail is right next to the property which is fun. The town house is comfortable and clean and nice to be able to make meals and wash clothes when needed. Means you can pack lighter if that’s ever possible!! We highly recommend Brads place and thank him for sharing his piece of paradise!
The townhouse is beautiful and very well stocked with items left by the owner as well as previous visitors. The owner provided excellent directions as well as detailed information on everything in the townhouse, including check out instructions. The resort is quiet and peaceful. You can walk out the door and access the tennis court. There is a pool down the street and a workout room. To top it off, there are beach chairs, bicycles and a ton of toys in the garage the owner has provided for renters’ use. We really enjoyed the bikes and beach chairs!! We’ve stayed in a lot of rentals, but this is the best by far. Thanks for everything, Brad!

This was my husband and my first trip to Hawaii. We stayed for 2 weeks and it was amazing! This condo has everything you need! Beach towels, boogies boards, snorkel gear, noodles, bikes - the owner really knows what people would like to use while there. The place was very clean and the WiFi worked great for us to catch up on work email. The directions and suggestions for places to go from the owner really helped out a lot too. The renter signature book was wonderful for restaurant suggestions. The location is perfect because the beaches to the north are amazing and going to the farmers market in Kona was easy too! We are planning to come back to this location with our kids. We loved the pool and hot tub option when we didn't want to go to the beach. The hot tub at night looking at the stars was a highlight after a great day on the Big Island.
This home is very clean and extremely comfortable. The building is situated on the outer edge of the complex, so it is quiet and offers views of the golf course , and in the early morning, sunrise on Mauna Kea. The kitchen is well equipped. A new energy efficient washer and dryer allow you to pack less clothes and avoid baggage charges! There are bikes in the garage you can ride to explore the Waikoloa resort, and there are umbrellas, beach chairs and boogie boards available to heighten the beach experience--- beautiful Hapuna beach is just a few minutes up the road. Most impressive is the owner's split second efficiency in responding to texts. This property is a gem!
