Owner's Response: Dear Brian J., Thank you for the five star review, we greatly appreciate it. This cabin is easy to find close to the Nantahala Village Mountain Resort, just off HWY 19, in the Nantahala Gorge. The place to be if you want to go whitewater rafting or horseback riding. It's a bit cooler in that area due to the forest canapé. The cabin is comfortable and priced reasonably and very affordable. We're glad you enjoyed your stay. Please come again. Sincerely, Karen Bartlett, property manager

Charming and relaxing

  • 4 of 5

We loved the cabin. It's maintained well, we were supplied with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. There are cute ladybug guests who seek shelter, so, be prepared to find a few. This is common in the mountains. It's cold so we don't blame them. It was the perfect getaway for our little family. The location is perfect and the views are amazing!

The house had everything we needed for a romantic weekend. We loved the hot tub and it was a bonus to have such good wi-fi. Some of us just don't want to totally disconnect. Everyone was happy!.

Home away from home

  • 5 of 5

Our cabin was nestled in the mountain but close enough to NOC that we did not feel at all isolated. Other cabins were close by but we also had the privacy that we like. Everything was provided for, the cabin was clean and the beds very comfortable. Satellite tv provided some downtime in between visiting all the area sights and enjoying our rafting trip. Will definitely return.

Pleasant mountain views

  • 4 of 5

Great location, fantastic mountain views from porch, peaceful surroundings, comfortable beds, enjoyable stay with family. Near NOC and not far from downtown Bryson City. Hot tub was pleasant. Bring board games as none were available. Nicely stocked otherwise.

Owner's Response: Dear BM, Thank you for noticing the details. We will get some board games into the cabin. I'm surprised that affected your overall stay and our review, but we will get right on it.
