Overview

About the property

Luxurious 1 Bedroom 1 Bath with Breathtaking Views

Relax and unwind on 5 acres, with views of nature all around, but still in the heart of Temecula's Wine Country. Perfect seclusion and only one mile off the De Portola Wine Trail. Close to all wineries! A hilltop, 24 hour visual delight. This private romantic 1 bedroom, 1 bath is the perfect place to reconnect with yourself, loved ones, and nature. Let your troubles melt away with a glass of wine and relax as you take in the evening's amazing sunset. Sleep in peace and serenity that can only be found out in the country. Grab your coffee and head outside each morning to see an array of balloons in the morning sky. An affordable and empowering location to reset your mind, body, and spirit. High end amenities and décor for folks who like the finer things in life. Million dollar homes surround the area. Villa is part of a 4000 sq. ft. estate with a private entrance, bathroom, walk-in closet. Designed to be private and quiet, yet affordable. Nicer amenities than the hotels at a fraction of the price. When I travel I know how difficult it is to find reasonably priced accommodations that are clean and quiet. I strive to give you a clean, quiet, and well priced place to get a good nights sleep. Four minutes to the closest winery 10 minutes to the furthest winery. 15 minutes to Old Town Temecula.

Please Note:

*** Chain Hotels that claim 'Wine Country' are located in town next to the freeway. My property is the only one in this price range located in 'the Wine Country' others in my price range are located in town- BEWARE-do your homework before booking...

** The Winery Hotels start at $220+ a night.

Common Questions:

Does it have a kitchen?

No, it has a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Plenty of fine dining in the Temecula Wine Country so a kitchen is not a necessity for most.

Is the pool heated in the winter?

No, the estate runs off propane and it's not cost effective to heat. (Nobody in Temecula will have a heated pool.)

Please beware that the property is currently listed for sale and I'm only taking reservations a month or so in advance. If the new owner doesn't want to continue VRBO your reservation will be refunded in full but you will have to find another rental- possibly last minute. I will do my best to avoid this situation but it's possible.

There is .3 of a dirt road to reach the property.

Why Zack Chamberlin chose Inland Empire

This is an amazing piece of property that I fell in love with the moment I saw it. Breathtaking views and extreme privacy is what sold me. It's a lot of fun to share the place with all the amazing guests I have encountered.

What makes this estate unique

It seems more and more difficult these days to really get away and have some quiet space. This is the perfect place if you are looking to relax and and unwind.

Private Casita in Wine Country

  • 4 of 5

Well this is my second stay at Zacks casitas. I love the location atop a big hill with fabulous views and easy drive to all the wineries. Temecula is a Home Run for wine enthusiasts with Doffo & Briar Rose leading the way with stellar choices right around the corner from the Casitas. I still haven't used the outdoor fire place or BBQ but I have used the "hot tub" both times and it's top notch. Highly recommend this place over any hotel in town for a romantic get away with your significant other......,

Beautiful, private Mother In Law unit

  • 4 of 5

My wife and I had a wonderful stay after a Temecula-area wedding. It was a really nice unit. My only recommendations for improvement: bring your own coffee (or Zach: supply more coffee!) -- we wanted to sit out and enjoy the sunrise and the one packet provided wasn't enough!; there is a gravel road which is only moderately maintained, bring an appropriate vehicle -- my sedan was fine, but it was a little hair-raising at night; and the AC unit (while a wonderful feature!) was really noisy- we couldn't figure out how to get the ceiling fan on and that would have been really happy. Don't get me wrong, I HIGHLY recommend that anyone looking for a nice stay with a hot tub, pool, gorgeous views, tons of privacy, and a quaintly appointed room. It was wonderful.

A Temecula Gem...

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time staying at this beautiful wine country location. The views are spectacular, and the location is in prime wine country with a backdrop of a multitude of winery choices. It was peaceful and quiet. The facility was very comfortable and clean. We would definitely book again! Zack provides a wealth of information and ideas on vacationing in the area.

Awesome house!

  • 5 of 5

The room and location were just what we were looking for. The view is incredible and is right in the middle of wine country. The outside pool and spa were fantastic.

I know that other people were on the property during our stay but it absolutely felt like we were alone.

We had a minor issue with the breaker flipping off a couple times (AC tripped it I think) but Jeff was able to help us out and was extremely helpful and accommodating.

Would absolutely stay here again!

Lovely location, needs small improvements

  • 4 of 5

Stayed for four nights by myself and enjoyed my stay. Room was clean and nicely decorated. Great bed and coverings. Beautiful 360 degree views. I live in a rural area so am used to driving on dirt roads so it was no big deal.

Contacted the owner twice for missing items such as hand towels, wash cloths and an ice cube tray -- not everyone drinks only wine in the afternoons! Owner was most helpful (and apologetic) in quickly furnishing the items thru a local assistant/attendant. Four suggestions for improvement: 1) identify each "villa" with a number or name; 2) motion-sensor on outside light; 3) a small coffee pot, not an individual cup dispenser; and, 4) the correct info for the wireless connection on the inside door. Had a couple walk into my room unexpectedly and fortunately I was fully clothed! I could have done the same thing myself to someone else when I arrived given no identification on/near the door on either rooms/villas. There is a switch for the outside light but I often left in broad daylight and didn't want to turn it on, especially not knowing when I would return. For anything longer than a one-night stay, the individual coffee cup dispenser got tedious, even for just one person in the room (just bought a small coffee pot for my father for a mere $15.00). My neighbor was able to contact the owner to find out the password for the wireless connection since what was written on the door is out-of-date. The only other negative was the large, noisy air-conditioner inside the room but that is difficult to remedy. It worked fine but detracted from the experience.

Overall, I would return here in the future because the pluses outweighed the negatives. Hopefully the owner can get his local assistant(s) to pay closer attention to those little details that make the difference between a good vs a great lodging experience.

Very peaceful stay

  • 5 of 5

The place was clean, the house is gorgeous. I loved the bed, very comfortable. My son and I played Ping-Pong and enjoyed the view, the pool and the Jacuzzi. Very relaxed weekend. Our dog was so happy, he really enjoyed the peace and quietness around. No problems at all. Zack responded my e-mails very quick. The only thing, the directions were incorrect, no big deal, Google map took us there. Thank you Zack, we had a pleasant stay.
