Breakers 140 is an amazing 10. Convenient first floor location (there is no elevator). This is an end unit with direct oceanfront views for wider ocean vistas and greater privacy. The bedroom has been totally renovated with new king bed and bedding,new porcelain tile flooring throughout with queen sleeper sofa in the living room. The rest of the condo has recently been renovated, providing hardwood floors, updated cabinets, kitchen and bath fixtures and appliances. Track lighting enhances the interior space. There are flat screen TV's in the living room and bedroom along with internet and cable for your entertainment.

Breakers 140 was purchased in the summer of 2013 as a rental property investment. As a 20 year plus resident of Hilton had and a local realtor, i am aware of the desirability of this complex. Great location!

My husband and I wanted to have a budget friendly vacation this year with our 3 year old son. The top priorities for me were location and great price. This place had both! We had a wonderful time there. For the 3 of us, it was the perfect amount of space & the view from the balcony was actually very good considering we were on the 1st floor. Parking wasn't an issue. The condo was cute & updated, the only thing I could say about updating would be to update the bathtub insert, it's seen better days! The condo was clean, except for the vents had some dust in them. My only other complaint is that all of the soap containers seemed to be diluted down with water. It was a cute condo with great access to the beach for a very affordable price! We had a wonderful time & made some great memories there! We are glad we stayed there!

Owner's Response: Hi Kristin Thanks so much for comments. Bathtub is being resurfaced soon along with new furnishings In living area. I provide liquid soap and what we use since it's so concentrated. You add water according to the directions. We also have these as most cleaning companies just leave a bar of soap. I feel especially with children. Cozy direct oceanfront condo for couple and baby

What sells this condo is the direct oceanfront view from the balcony and its proximity to the ocean. Surprisingly good view for a "first" floor condo. I liked that the main living/eating area was mostly baby-proof. Thankful for a much-needed week of relaxation with our 9-month-old son. I thought the beach rentals were going to be reasonably priced but it cost $32/day for 1 umbrella and 2 chairs the first day, then $20/day for each consecutive day thereafter. If I had to do over, I would've taken our own beach gear to this place. Overall great condo in a great location near Coligny Plaza with plenty within walking distance.

Nice Stay Despite Weather

This is a corner unit and although on the first floor, it still has a nice view. The kitchen is nice and there is a new washer/dryer. Our only complaint is that the furniture was not very comfortable. We were told though that the cushions would soon be replaced. But there needs to be another comfortable chair and a new mattress. The weather was cool and was nice to have a shopping center a movie theater nearby.

Great location great value

My husband and I began our 40 th married year here at the Breakers 140 for the entire month of January. It is a corner unit on the first level. The Magnificent view of the beach is unobstructed when sitting on the couch. There is a small lone Palm tree directly in front that we named Polly as it greeted us each sunrise and its outline signaled the sunset hours. It's a basic unit with all that is needed for cooking, cleaning etc. the place was clean when we arrived and the Queen bed is quite comfortable. We plan to make this an annual visit. Teresa, the property manager is efficient and very gracious. She was a pleasure to work with. See ya next year. Many thanks, Rosalie and Rick

Wonderful Week!

We had the most wonderful relaxing week. The villa was perfect for the two of us and in a great area. The place was spotless and has everything we needed, soap, towels, sheets and much more. It was everything we'd hoped for an more. The sunrise off the balcony provided us with the perfect picture opportunity every morning. Thank You Theresa for being so accommodating.

Great Condo/Great View/Great Location

Our family of three (two adults and a two and a half year old) recently stayed in this unit and we really enjoyed it. It had been recently updated with wood and tile floors, a new kitchen with granite counters and nice appliances, 2 flat screen tv's as well as a new king bed. The condo is very small, which we new going in, but was laid out very well for only being a little over 500 sq ft. I would not recommend for more than 2-3 people otherwise it would be crowded. You also have a direct view of the ocean which was fantastic especially at this price point. It was also extremely clean, which is never a given on a rental, and was stocked with towels as well as some of the things that normally need to be purchased like paper towels and dishwasher detergent. The pool area was also nice and well taken care of and had a separate kids pool. You are about a two minute walk from the beach and just barely more to Coligny Plaza, which is great because we barely used our car. There are at least a dozen restaurants and bars, lots of shopping as well as a grocery store there so no need to drive.

There are a couple of things worth mentioning. The building does not look fantastic from the outside. It isn't terrible by any means, but it is a wooden structure right on the beach that is 30-40 years old. Also, there are no elevators which was not an issue for us but might be for some.

All in all, this unit is worth five stars because it is clean, updated and has a fantastic view and location. It is also a terrific value and we highly recommend it.
