The apartment was great. Spotless and well located.
The most amazing thing about this rental was the property manager, Julia, who was most helpful and would do anything to facilitate making the visit go smoothly. One of our party left an Ipad on the train from warsaw and Julia made many phone calls trying to locate it. When plans changed with a problem renting a car, she was immediately available to help with new arrangements. I cannot say enough positive things about her.
Overpriced- do not be fooled by photos
The flat is on the top floor, doesn't have a/c, it gets very hot, and is super loud. It is not well maintained with dirty walls, broken blinds, and cheap bedding. The apartment on the first floor by the same owners is better if you must choose.
Excellent location and fantastic castle view
The location of this property is hard to beat. A minute or two to the main square in Kazimierz and loads of great restaurants (and wait in line worthy lody spots!) within walking distance. Old town is also within easy walking distance at 15-20 minutes depending on where in old town you're aiming for. We didn't take any trams, but the trams are right there on front of the apartment as well.
The property was easy to find and access, though in my opinion in need of a bit of sprucing up. I'd love to see it with a fresh coat of paint, more fans for hot summer days/nights, and the pillows on the beds definitely need an upgrade. The trams are also very loud, especially at night, so bring ear plugs if you're going to have the windows open for fresh air.
The owners were lovely to deal with and the apartment was perfect for our group of adults and kids. The kitchen was useful looking though we simply ate out as the food was so close by and so good!
We got SO lucky and witnessed a fireworks show from the balcony (fireworks going off beside the castle which can be seen from the balconies) and this was certainly a highlight of the trip. I don't think we'd have seen it full view from any other apartment I looked at.
I will absolutely recommend this place, but will also bring my own pillow next time :)
Thanks for a wonderful stay!
We stayed for three nights in this apartment. It is in a great location for restaurants, trams and bars. The apartment is very comfortable with views of the castle from several rooms. It is very well equipped and has everything you would need even if you where dining in which we did not because of the choice of restaurants close by.We where met by Julia to give us the keys and tell us various things about the apartment and surrounding area which was very helpful. It is a great apartment and I would certainly recommend it .
Beautifully Remodeled Apartment in Krakow's Jewish District
We just returned from a wonderful Poland vacation which included 4 nights in this beautiful 3 bedroom apartment in Krakow. The apartment is just as lovely as the pictures and includes a fabulous view of the sun setting over Wawel Castle. We were welcomed by Julia, the property manager, who answered our questions and gave us a map and information on places to eat and see. The location was perfect for us since we were visiting with a relative that lives in Kazimierz. We loved visiting all the restaurants and pubs that are within walking distance from the apartment. It was also only about a 15-20 minute walk to the Castle and Old Town (Main Market Square). While Old Town was a lovely and bustling tourist attraction, we actually enjoyed the more neighborhood feel of Kazimierz. The only negative thing about the apartment was the noise from the trams, but closing the windows at night diminished the noise.
Fantastic accommodation, great location
We were delighted with this flat and its location. The owner was extremely helpful, even organising a taxi to pick us up at the airport. There was information about places to eat in the flat - we tried three of the recommended restaurants and they were all great! The flat itself is spotless and true to the pictures on the website. There is some noise from traffic etc. during the night so best take earplugs. Small inconvenience given that the location of the flat is brilliant - so central. I see that the owner rents apartments in Barcelona. We wouldn't hesitate to rent from this owner again. High standards and couldn't have been more helpful.
