3 Bedroom, 3 Bathroom Villa with jungle and partial ocean views
Casa Brisas Dulce is a custom-built, hidden jewel... a balm for your soul. Every moment in this villa inspires a sense of connection to nature and exquisite retreat from the stress of life.
Casa Brisas Dulce is named for the sweet ocean and mountain breezes the villa enjoys from its unique location straddling a stunning rainforest ridge... secluded, yet close to everything.
We bought this villa to have a place to get away from the everyday stress. We enjoy sitting on the patio drinking a glass of wine while watching the monkeys play and seeing the amazing variety of birds. The pathway through the property is perfect for hiking and exploring all that the jungle has to offer. When we are not enjoying it, we want others to experience the beauty, peace and serenity of Casa Brisas Dulce.
The main house has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, infinity-edge pool, sliding walls of glass looking out on panoramic jungle hills, partial ocean views, balconies, backyard jungle garden, walking trail, WIFI, fountains and much more. It sleeps 11 people. A separate, independent, studio apartment is downstairs that sleeps 4 people with a separate patio over-looking the backyard jungle, WIFI, 1 bathroom and a kitchen.
This website will introduce you to our hilltop sanctuary. You can find more information and take a video tour of the villa at our website. Please email us if you have any additional questions or would like to book a rental.

About Tom and Stephanie
We love to travel and have been to approximately 20 different countries on vacation. We first visited Manuel Antonio to attend a spanish school. We loved the area so much that we kept returning and renting other homes in the area. Eventually we stopped vacationing anywhere else and decided to purchase our own home in the area. We found the perfect home that incorporated all the things we loved in the various homes we rented in the area.
Why Tom and Stephanie chose Valle Pura Vida
It was very important to us to be on the tree line so the wildlife would visit frequently. We love watching the moneys play in the swimming pool and the trees. We love seeing the colorful and beautiful birds all around the house and hearing them sing. We love watching the family of raccoons walk along our patios at night. The natural light and the huge windows brings the outside in.
What makes this Villa unique
Our house is unique because we have the trees and the wildlife all around the house and a view of the beautiful sunsets in the front of the house. In the mornings, we enjoy our breakfast on the back patio while watching and listening to the wildlife. In the evenings, we enjoy a sunset dinner on the front patio. The large patio doors on both sides of the house allow the breezes to flow through and the sounds of the outdoors to come inside.

The house was perfect!
The house was amazing! We really enjoyed coming back to the house after a day of adventure to relax and hangout. We had 8 people total with two families and there was plenty of room for us all. The back porch was very tranquil and we enjoyed the tree-top view. The sunset was beautiful from the front porch, and the daily visits from iguanas and raccoons were fun. Housekeeping came every other day, and she was a blessing. She even helped with some laundry, which was a pleasant surprise!
We would love to return and could even stay in the same place. It is centrally located right in-between Quepos and Manuel Antonio. It was a quick drive to almost everything we did on this vacation. This was an amazing trip in a beautiful country at a great house.
Pura Vida at Casa Brisas Dulce
The property is excellent for a large family. There are 5 adults in our family and we had a great stay. The property has a separate spare guest room that we did not use. The concierge was very helpful and readily available on the phone and at the property during our stay. House keeping was included in the rent and we would find our clothes washed and the home impeccably clean. We loved to come home to a clean house and our clothes washed and dried. The kitchen was well equipped for meal preparation and the local market provides a delivery service. The pool is a great plus and is very well maintained. The patios and balconies are spacious and excellent for early morning coffee. We were visited by monkeys and raccoons. We would definitely stay here again.
Great house for couple, couples, family!!
Spent two weeks in mid-February. House is spacious with a great, great master suite, large living area, decent bedrooms 2/3, well equipped and really nice outdoor area. Numerous monkeys came to visit, for some reason on Tuesdays, with a few others on other days. Also, had two Scarlet Macaws, two Toucans and a Sloth. The house is well located for access to beaches and restaurants within Manuel Antonio and Quepos. There is a really neat trail at the end of the street (at first intersection, left and 1 block to end) that goes about 3/4 mile to waterfall. However, it is very rocky and with a lot of roots, so is rough and requires degree of agility (but our group of 6 - 68 handled without issue). House manager and support personnel provided top service when needed.
The house is about 1/4 mile off the main road up a typical Manuel Antonio side "street" and has a really steep section as one approaches the house. Restaurants are 3/4 mile to 5 miles which translates to 15 to 35 minutes due to condition of side streets and traffic. Nearest beaches are about 1 mile down side streets (4WD needed to access one) and main Manuel beaches are about 3 miles. Grocery store is about 1.5 miles. One could walk to these, I guess, but walking on the main road is not recommended (hilly, winding, narrow). Number of great restaurants and bars.
Cons -- there is no ocean view, which we assume had been from the upper deck off the MBR. The MBR deck is wonderful little eden surrounded by palms, but they apparently have grown so that ocean view is blocked. Second, the pool is very nice and the outdoor areas, rear and front, are large, but there is no furniture on the front (rockers would be great) and no chaises for sunning on the rear. The furniture that is on the rear is comfortable and good for small group discussion, but limited to that and reading. Third, the front access is four flights of stairs and the elevator was out of order. It was supposed to be fixed the week after we left. Wasn't a problem for us, but would be for someone challenged by stairs.
