A 5 min walk in one direction and you're at the Tahoe Pines beach and private pier, while 5 mins in the other direction and you're in Forest Service land and trails that are adjacent to Blackwood Creek. Homewood Ski resort is about 1 mile up the road, while Alpine Valley and Squaw Valley are just 10 miles away. Restaurants and local convenience stores are available in the surrounding area at SunnySide or near the Homewood Ski Resort; while larger chain stores are available in Tahoe City.
