I love to spend time on the Lake. I am a fisherman and a wake board enthusiast. This house is my favorite place to be and proud to share it with other water friendly travelers.

Why Michael Dyll chose Eatonton

I have been coming to Lake Sinclair well before i purchased this house. Lake Sinclair is a hidden treasure tucked away is woods. The House is 15 minutes from historic downtown Eatonton and 20 min from Historic Milledgeville.

What makes this house unique

The Lake is the place to be in the summer and a great get away in the winter. I love to watch the sunset sitting on swinging bench down on the dock. The fire pit in the yard is a great place to enjoy the evening making smore's!!!

Will be back next year!!!!

We had an awesome time. The house was clean, plenty of places to sleep. Loved having the downstairs for the kids to sleep. They loved having there own space with a pool table. The dock was nice. The boys loved having the kayaks. We have rented homes on Lake Sinclair the past 4 years and this one gave us the space we needed. My only suggestion would be to clean the shrubs in front of the lower level to the lake so that when you grill you can sit and enjoy the view. Michael was very quick to respond to any questions we had. We will definelty rent this house again.

Facility needs to be better maintained and photos need to be updated.

  • 2 of 5

Lake house is on a beautiful piece of property. However, the house and deck are in need of some major maintenance. There is a hole in the dock that you could put your entire foot through that is very dangerous for guests. The inside of the house was clean but we had to spray off the back porch and basement patio area. Many things (dishwasher, stove, boat lifts) were not in proper working order. I would not stay here again.

False advertisement

  • 3 of 5

This getaway was for our parents’ 50th Anniversary. After looking through several places on VRBO, this seemed like one of the best places we could stay. However, upon arrival, things were not as we thought they would be. The first guests arrived just before checkin at 4, and the cleaning van was still on the premises with the man cleaning inside. After waiting until after 4, they did get in the house. The cleaning man assured my parents that the owner would be coming by to cut the grass that afternoon; if not, he would be back to cut it himself. When we left Sunday morning, the grass still had not been cut. The owner did text Saturday morning that he was having lawn mower issues and he would be later than he thought with cutting the grass.

Th pictures on the VRBO site are very outdated. The landscaping around the house is overgrown. The car in the picture on VRBO is now in an overgrown area on the property, and I’m pretty sure the Jon boat mentioned in the amenities was turned upside down near the car. The car doesn’t look like it’s been driven in quite a while. The dock has holes in it. The big light used for night fishing on the dock was out. When my husband finally spoke with the owner, after several texts and a voice message, he said that the light was not working due to a boat hitting it.

You can tell this property was once very nice. It has been run down and not many repairs have been made. If nothing is going to be updated or repaired, then the owner needs to be honest and upfront by posting pictures of the property in its current state. He also needs to be more cooperative and accessible when he is needed.

We have been renting properties on VRBO for about 18 years now, and this is our first big disappointment.
