Would stay here again
I want this to be 5 stars because it is clean, the location is great and Mike is so easy to work with. But the kitchen is set up for making some coffee and toast, and it is not really possible to do any cooking because of the lack of some basic equipment. Of course you are in a city of a billion eateries, but cooking and eating in is a nice option to have. Parking is 2 blocks up and 2 over and considering the premium of Wilmington parking spaces, free parking is a real bonus. There is a free city trolley that stops right outside. Yep--it's ideal for a couple and we would stay here again.

We just completed an inventory of kitchen equipment and this is what we have in the unit: A full size range/oven, a full size microwave, a full size refrigerator/freezer w/icemaker, a toaster, a coffee maker, 1 baking sheet , 1 pizza baking sheet, frying pans small & large, 2 sauce pots. Items in island kitchen: pasta pot with strainer & lid. On top of refrigerator or under the kitchen sink: a wood dish drain rack & dish drying mat.
We also have numerous drinking/wine glasses, coffee cups, kitchen plates, knives, spoons, forks and all cooking utensils.

Great value and location
It is a nice simple unit, met our needs. As one might expect, it gets a little noisy and kind of bright with street lights just outside the bedroom windows. View was incredible and the walk to/from parking wasn't too bad.
Great location. Fine facilities.
This is a great place for a couple to stay...but keep in mind there is no dishwasher and only a few towels are provided....it's super convenient to everything downtown and not far from the beaches or Mayfaire area. We had a small issue with the smoke alarm but Mike was super responsive. Free Parking spot is several blocks away so loading and unloading our car was a challenge. But in between it was fine. The view is spectacular...would have liked warmer temps but sadly Mike cannot arrange that too. We had a good visit and appreciated the accommodations. I would use this property again.
Sorry about the smoke detector. It turned out to be defective and I pit in a new one.
Also owe you a big apology for not mentioning that there is a place on the street near the end of the building where you can load/unload your luggage. It is where the ups/fedex trucks stop for deliveries to our place/building (about 75 feet from our front steps) and is where I stop when we need to take supplies to the unit. This prevents having to carry your luggage to and from the parking space.
