Enjoy the fantastic views afforded from this riverfront unit located directly on the cape fear river in historic downtown Wilmington. Numerous restaurants are located within walking distance. This unit has laminate and tile flooring throughout and is tastefully furnished. Linens are included and will be in place when you arrive!! Unit has a queen size bed and a queen size sleeper sofa. A parking pass is included with each reservation.

Mike I just want to let you that we enjoyed your property oh so much. It was every thing it said it was and more. Every thing that we needed was right there, I mean every thing. My wife was blown away at what a cozy oh so clean setup you offer. In 2011 and 2013 we stayed at the Hilton. This is better right on the river, great views. Thank you, thank u. I don't know just yet....... but if Wilmington is in our plans next year we will be looking you up.

This was such a wonderful condo. The location is outstanding . We were able to walk to so much. The view from the deck breathtaking. I would recommend to everyone. I hope to stay again sometime.

Great trip on the Riverfront

The condo is located in the perfect location. Even with the Riverfront festival it was nice and peaceful. We parked in the 2nd Street lot with the owner provided parking pass and walked the short distance back to the residence. Condo was clean and well furnished.

Location, Location, Location!

Fantastic location. Our favorite thing about our whole vacation was sitting on the balcony at sunset (or in the morning with a cup of coffee), enjoying the view across the river and people (and dog) watching on the boardwalk below. Great location to walk around town and easy access if you need to drive somewhere. Clean, comfortable, highly recommend staying here!

Really enjoyable stay!

My sister, mother, and I really enjoyed our long weekend stay at this riverfront unit while celebrating my mom's 60th birthday. The unit felt airy and spacious and the location was ideal. Some of the best food in the city was right beneath or beside us and the views of the river (especially at sunset) were gorgeous! I highly recommend the brunch at The George next door! The keypad lock was a nice touch so the three of us could come and go as we pleased without having to keep up with keys.

Though you could occasionally hear noise from the street, the unit was always quiet enough to sleep comfortably and we were never disturbed by it. We loved being able to come back from a day at the beach, clean up, and walk right downtown for a night on the town, no designated driver or uber required.

The unit was clean and well supplied with linen, paper goods, and kitchen supplies. The water pressure in the shower was amazing! I can only think of two cons about the unit:

1. The pull-out couch bed is very uncomfortable. You can feel the springs and bars underneath the mattress. So I just ended up sleeping on the couch itself, while my mom and sister shared the bed.

2. Parking is inconvenient. We appreciated a parking pass being provided, but the assigned lot was about a seven minute walk away. Since my mom recently had foot surgery, I would run and get the car and come back to pick her up. That being said, there are lots right across the street if you don't mind paying for them and are able to find a spot. And there's room on the street in front of the unit to pull over and unload or load luggage. So we made it work.

All in all, the benefits of this unit far outway the few inconveniences and I would totally recommend it! In fact, if the couch mattress were to be replaced, I would definitely give it 5 stars!

*just a recommendation: because it's so close to the water, there was a mosquito problem. We got eaten up while enjoying wine or taking pictures on the deck. Just remember to bring mosquito repellent and that should eliminate the problem.

Owner's Response: Thanks for the review. Will definitely look into replacing the sleeper sofa mattress as soon as possible. There is indeed a private parking lot located directly across the street from our unit. There are also pay parking meters in the immediate vicinity. I have chosen to include a parking pass with each stay due to my concern that there are times where the private lots and pay meters in the immediate area are full. Fortunately, the parking lot we have a pass for is in the historic downtown area. I could have purchased a monthly pass for a parking lot closer to our unit, but the lot did not have sufficient lighting at night to be considered safe for our guests. Hope to have you again as a guest and I do apologize for the sleeper/sofa. Sincerely Mike Powell

Perfect location and wonderful accommodation for Labor Day Getaway 2017

With extremely short notice, I reserved this unit as a getaway for my wife's birthday

-- owner was very quick in reaching out to me and provided everything needed

Location was outstanding with view of the river, river-walk, bridge, and battleship

-- we were able to easily walk to all of the interesting sites and stores and restaurants

The accommodation had everything we needed and plan to stay there again sometime soon

-- very comfortable, clean, and reasonably well maintained

-- can't beat the price... just be aware that parking anywhere in the area can be a challenge, so strongly suggest leaving car in the pre-paid parking lot (provided by owner) and walking to all of the great local shops & restaurants -- location is superb and feels so safe
