This home is right on Park City Mountain with expansive views of the mountain and all of 'Old Town'. There is 'stair' access for easy walking to the main street shops and restaurants. Family friendly with hot tub, 3 TV's and a fully stocked kitchen, private parking, gas burning fireplace, full laundry.

About Joel Preston

Carol and Joel own and manage the property themselves. You can call us direct anytime to answer questions. Joel is a Utah native and Carol grew up in Michigan. We also own the 'other side' of this 'double home' and live there more than half of the year (we rent it out also; so you could rent both sides and sleep 24! The remainder of the time we reside in Jacksonville Beach, Florida.

Why Joel Preston chose Park City

We searched for 2 years looking for the best location for a 2nd home. This location right on the mountain in old town was a rare find. When our neighbor next door told us he was planning to sell we were able to purchase it before it went on the market. I am sure you will understand why when you see it! You will experience walking out the door to ski or mountain bike on Park City Mtn. You can view the activities in town from the windows and 3 balconies. 280 steps down to main street bars/restaurants/shops is easy...the walk up is...good exercise!

What makes this house unique

You will love the Hot tub with views of town and the mountain. Our home is 3 stories high on the side of the mountain....adding to the unobstructed views....with this comes 'stairs'. We have rented out the twin home next door with no complaints as a few stairs are worth the awesome location.

This house is awesome and Joel + Carol are amazing!

We had such a wonderful time at Joel and Carol's cabin. The house is warm, clean, and lovely with AMAZING views.

All the instructions were very clear and Joel was very responsive over email and phone.

I would absolutely stay here again - I hope I will!

If you're looking for a ski in/ski out rental, you simply can't beat the location. The home is nicely appointed, the owner is responsive and the hot tub is a great touch after a day on the slopes.

Great house in a great location

Went for a ski weekend with some friends. Easy ski in and ski out to the Town lift. Short walk down the stairs into Old Town Park City. Very comfortable house that is very well maintained and accommodated 10 guys. The owners Joel and Carol were fantastic before and during our stay. They were great in answering any questions we had either about the house or Park City. Their friendliness in opening their home and easy communication really set our VRBO experience above most. Even with some minor work being done to the driveway and garage there was zero impact to our stay and we would most definitely stay in the same house again!

Location, views and the comforts of home

The location of this home along with the great amenities make it a no brainer if you want to have an easy and fun vacation. You're able to ski in and ski out steps from the driveway which eliminates the hassle of carting ski gear back and forth. And they have plenty of room to keep your skies and boots so you're not tripping over everything trying to get in and out the door. It's such a nice comfortable set up. The views from the home are beautiful and make it a great place to enjoy apres ski drinks from the comfort of the living room overlooking town and the mountains. Access to Main Street with all of it's great restaurants (Tupelo is fantastic!), bars (No Name Saloon is a must!) and shops (Gorsuch- beautiful store!) is so easy down the stairs which are also just steps away from the front door. The house is equipped with everything you need for your stay and Carol and Joel are so helpful with questions about and recommendations for the area. The house can easily accommodate a larger group but is also very comfortable for a smaller family that doesn't want to be crammed into a small place. I plan on returning next year....and the year after.

Location, Location, Location!

This is our second year renting from Joel and Carol. We absolutely love the location. It is so easy to walk a few steps, and then ski down to the town lift. We have two families that share the home and we have six teenagers that can ski in and out all day long. At night, we venture down the stairs to the street below and grab dinner at a restaurant, or shop a little, and enjoy the nightlife as well. We never have to rent a car, because everything we need is right there. The house itself is very comfortable and spacious for ten people. We can all eat a meal together at the large table when we want, but spread out when we need space. The hot tub is wonderful after a long day of skiing. The kitchen is well equipped with everything and more! The home was updated and beautiful and it had plenty of linens and was very clean. Joel and Carol are exceptional to work with and prompt on emails. They are eager to answer any questions and make our stay as comfortable as possible. A great choice!

Great Location!! Beautiful Home!!

What a great house rental! We had a party of 7 and there was plenty of room. The house was perfect. We enjoyed all being together in the living room with the fireplace going, but also you had plenty of privacy with 3 separate bedroom floors. The kitchen is well stocked with more than you will ever need. Very Comfortable home. Joel and Carol were very lovely and helpful. They go out of their way to make your vacation work out perfect.

We are also minutes (free bus ride) to Deer Valley (skiers only) and The Canyons resort (ski and snowboard). The tubing hill 'Gorgoza' is great for all ages (as there is a 'half' hill and a large hill for adults and older children) We are also close to the Utah Olympic Park where you can ride a bobsled and view ski jumping.
