Great get away
We had a wonderful experience. Our dog loved the special area for her.
We had a great time.... thanks for sharing your cabin with us!!
Poor cleanliness and upkeep
From the moment we walked in the Cabin had a musky moldy smell. The floors were like glue, despite the housekeeper saying she just mopped. One of the two bedrooms was unusable due to a strong smell of urine. Dust and cobwebs were everywhere. The fridge was dirty and would need cleaned if we wanted to use. The furniture in the Cabin was not the furniture in the pictures online. This furniture was dated and dingy. We used a sheet we brought with us to cover the couch so we could use it. We bought cleaning supplies at the local DG to make the cabin usable. After 10 floor cleaning pads, dirt was still coming up. The cabin has a hot tub but based on the cleanliness of the cabin we decided it was safest not to use it. It is listed as private but we could hear and see the neighbors when they were outside. On the positive side it was fenced in for the dogs and had good views. The property manager did respond timely to our concerns even on a Sunday. The cabin is a bit of a drive, 30-40 minutes to Gatlinburg and the popular hiking trails. Must try Karvers Apple Farm down the road. Great chicken and dumplings!!
Great place to get away
This was a great little cabin. We loved the hot tub and the fire ring outside. It was so quaint nestled in the woods. I gave it 4 stars because the neighbor could see us when we were getting out of the hot tub. Not that it really bothers me, but if you want complete privacy there are neighbors that are close by. This was our first trip to Tennessee, and I must say that it was definitely worth the drive. The scenery is gorgeous with the changing of the leaves in the fall and the quaintness of the small towns. It is close to Gatlinburg, and to one of the entrances of the Smoky Mountains National Park. We did hike one of the nearby trails, Laurel Falls, I believe it was called. We did take the advice of others and soaked in that hot tub after the hike and it felt great!
Very neat and peaceful
My family was impressed with this cabin! Very neat and peaceful. The sound of the creek flowing through the back was the best! My kids loved the hot tub. The 30-45 minute drive to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg was not bad at all! The views are incredible! Can’t wait to go back!
Nice and cozy enjoyed our stay
