Cute and Cozy!

  • 5 of 5

My kids loved this cabin so much they didn't want to leave! It was perfect for our little family of four. The whole place just had a sense of excitement about it, and the hot tub was a hit!

The cabin was clean and comfortable. Not having a dishwasher was a bit of a surprise but it didn't pose a problem at all. The washer and dryer came in extremely handy!

Overall, we made some awesome memories staying in this cabin. My kids have declared that we can only stay in cabins while on vacation from now on! I highly recommend!

Perfect family cabin getaway.

  • 5 of 5

This place has everything! Creek Wood has everything! Two bedrooms, washer/dryer/ books and magazines, lots of towels, full kitchen and supplies, hot tub, creek and space to roam. It is on a good sized lot with plenty of trees for privacy. Only two neighbors were barely visible. The worst part was that we only stayed 3 nights; the next time we will stay a week! Hope to come back every year! Made the trip to Gatlinburg but preferred visiting the Cosby camping grounds and taking a drive on the Foothills parkway even more!

Poor cleanliness and upkeep

  • 2 of 5

From the moment we walked in the Cabin had a musky moldy smell. The floors were like glue, despite the housekeeper saying she just mopped. One of the two bedrooms was unusable due to a strong smell of urine. Dust and cobwebs were everywhere. The fridge was dirty and would need cleaned if we wanted to use. The furniture in the Cabin was not the furniture in the pictures online. This furniture was dated and dingy. We used a sheet we brought with us to cover the couch so we could use it. We bought cleaning supplies at the local DG to make the cabin usable. After 10 floor cleaning pads, dirt was still coming up. The cabin has a hot tub but based on the cleanliness of the cabin we decided it was safest not to use it. It is listed as private but we could hear and see the neighbors when they were outside. On the positive side it was fenced in for the dogs and had good views. The property manager did respond timely to our concerns even on a Sunday. The cabin is a bit of a drive, 30-40 minutes to Gatlinburg and the popular hiking trails. Must try Karvers Apple Farm down the road. Great chicken and dumplings!!
