Perfect vacation home!

  • 5 of 5

This was our first time to visit Flagler Beach and it won't be our last. The house was beautiful and perfect for our family of 7 adults and our dog. We felt so relaxed and at home. Very easy access to the almost private beach. Loved having a pool for late night swims. Richard was great to explain everything and Sheila was so great to work with when we wanted to come a little early and stay a little late. We just really didn't want to leave. We loved that it felt so private yet within a few miles there were a lot of great restaurants, grocery stores, etc. We will definitely come back and stay at this wonderful home.

Owner's Response: We are so lucky to have such lovely and considerant guests and it is great getting to know you all - just sad that, as we live in the UK, we never get to meet. We would love to welcome you back again and in the meantime send our thanks and very best wishes.

Beautiful house, Nice private beach

  • 5 of 5

We spent the week if July 4th in this beautiful home. This was our first venture in Flagler Beach as we usually stay closer to St. Augustine. We will be back! The house had many extra touches throughout including beautiful decor, plenty of beach towels, plenty of bath towels, and to top it off my maltipoo had his own designated towels. The house was a great layout with a very large master upstairs. The pictures do not show how large this master truly is! The pool was perfect and it was a short walk across the street to the beach. The beach is really like your own private spot. Thank you for a relaxing week!

Absolutely amazing vacation!

  • 5 of 5

Hi Sheila,

We so much enjoyed our stay in your lovely home. Everything about the property was perfect. Having a screened in pool and the beach right across the street gave us the best of both worlds.

The house and yard are very well maintained and beautifully decorated. You can tell you have put a lot of love into it.

The area is so peaceful and relaxing but yet anything you need is just a short distance away.

We had such a wonderful time that it was really hard to leave.

Thank you for sharing your home with us. We hope to return in the future.

Take care. Carole

Owner's Response: We love being there too and would stay forever if we could! We shall be returning in the fall and our plan is to remodel the downstairs bathroom into a wet room to make it more easily accessible for everyone (including me!) We look forward to welcoming you and your family back one day. Best wishes Sheila and Colin

Very relaxing

  • 5 of 5

For young individuals the pool in the height of the day with some shade was terrific. Followed by beautiful beach wave, Kite flying and sea shell/ rock collecting the very best adventures. The home was very comfortable and it was nice to have the children on a separate floor. One survey commented there was a fence, so I did not ask. This is not the case, there is no fense, but the road is away from the backyard. The dogs on a leash, locks and Beepers on doorways made it very comfortable.. We also saw turtles, rabbits, sand cranes and Pelicans to name a few. Very relaxing!!!!!! Sheila was very attentive and Robert open to phone calls at any time..Neighbors very intuned? Farmers market was small but nice, great veggies, home made tea & bug spray and all natural sugar free deserts. We spent so much time in the pool and beach it did not leave time for much else.. Lastly the beach was not crowded and my dog welcome. The first time she could experience a beach although she has always lived in Florida. As my niece would say, "The Best Time Ever!"I wish my dog could experience the beach all the time.

Owner's Response: It has been so good "getting to know you" during our correspondence and we were thrilled to receive the photos your sister-in-law took during your stay. I did mention that we had to remove the rusty metal fence as it was old ,ugly and possibly becoming dangerous and we also wanted to make more outside space for the children to play and the "grown ups" to sit and watch. So glad your Mom enjoyed her birthday and we wish her all the very best for the years ahead and look forward to welcoming you all (including your little dog) back one day. Best regards - Sheila, Colin and Richard (of course!)

Beautiful Location!

  • 5 of 5

Such a beautiful location, we had a wonderful time! Shelia was always prompt in replying to any questions we had and Richard was there to walk us through the property and give us an overview. The pool is immaculate and received a new heater during our stay. The house is also in fantastic condition and is furnished well with plenty of ammenities. The short walk to the beach (across the street) was very nice! This house is located in a nice, quiet subdivision with a very private setting.

Flagler Beach is just a few minutes down the road if you're looking for restaurants or general tourist type stores. I would highly recommend the Flagler Beach Fish Company for lunch and the Farmers Market on the weekends. We had a fantastic time and would obviously recommend this property!

Owner's Response: We had the pool completely refurbished last year and we are so pleased you liked it. The farmers market is definitely one of our favourite places when we are staying and another highlight is "First Friday music in the park" which also takes place in the square and has a brilliant "buzzing" atmosphere. We hope you and your family are able to visit again one day as you will always be very welcome to share our home

Lovely and relaxing!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Painter's Walk. My mother lived in Flagler Beach for many years and wanted to go back one more time. This home was perfect for us. It's situated on a quiet cul de sac. It's beautifully decorated and has every convenience, including a well-stocked spacious kitchen. We really enjoyed the large screened in porch where we were able to relax and read. It was just a short walk to the beach. We love the fact that this beach is so quiet. We saw lots of birds and dolphins. The weather was perfect. The owner, Sheila, was a pleasure to work with. We will definitely come back!

Owner's Response: We are so glad that your mother enjoyed her special birthday with her lovely family in our home and sincerely hope she will stay well enough to return one day. Hopefully the recently installed landscaping will have had time to mature before then and will provide pretty places to sit and relax on the way to and fro from the beach. We are also hoping to remodel the downstairs bathroom to make it even more accessible for all ages especially the older ones ( which now includes Colin and myself!)
