Within walking distance to Willard Beach and great for a small family. If you and your family have been longing to spend time in Maine in the summer to enjoy our beautiful beaches, rocky coast and lobster this is great way to do it. More room and privacy than a hotel in a desirable beach side neighborhood.
The apt has 2 bedrooms that are bright and sunny with a queen bed in one and 2 twin beds in the other. The first level has a full kitchen and dining area combined and a separate living room with a flat screen TV, sectional sofa and chair. Plenty of room for the family to relax after a day at the beach. There is a mudroom in the back where you could store your bicycles! One private parking space behind the building and usually room on the street in front of the building for one more.
Private entry-way from the front door.
It's a clean fully furnished and decorated unit in a great location. We are located in Willard Square right across from the famous Scratch Bakery and now also famous Willard Scoops ice cream shop (we own it!)
You can walk to the beach, it's only one third of a mile or if you prefer to drive with beach chairs, cooler etc. there is a parking lot located close to the beach.
Enjoy a quiet vacation while blending in with the locals at Willard Beach, South Portland, Maine. Willard Beach is a small, mile long, sandy neighborhood beach with beautiful views of Casco Bay, the islands and the ship channel that leads to Portland Harbor. Stroll in the sand at dawn and see the local fishing boats head out to sea. Soak up the sun and salty sea air at South Portland's best-kept secret!!
Walk to a wonderful local restaurant (David's 388). Drive three miles to Portland's Old Port district which offers shopping, night life, and a variety of outstanding restaurants. Take the Casco Bay Lines ferries to local islands for biking, dining, or exploring. Short drive from I-295 which leads to Freeport, Maine, home of the world famous L.L. Bean and numerous outlet stores.
