Perfect location
I agree with the other reviews - the check-in process is excellent technology and is really cool, but has some quirks . That said, the people we interacted with on the Heritage staff were super excellent. We rented a room with a washer and dryer which do take up some precious space. If you don't need the washer/dryer, go for a room without (there are shared washing machines available anyway). There was no place to really put our luggage so we found ourselves moving it around constantly. Not a huge deal, just a little nuisance.
But in the end, none of this really mattered - we had hot water, a fridge, a bed, air conditioning. And above all else, the location here is absolutely perfect. About a 3 minute walk to the MRT station and 3 minutes in the other direction to the Maxwell hawker center which is a MUST if you want good and very cheap food. We would absolutely stay here again.
Oh, and I think the people before us had a ton of durian fruit in the fridge. The smell was...something. But as soon as we were in the room for like 30 seconds it kind of went away.
