Spectacular views from balcony and walk to Beach and Marina.

One bedroom very spacious condo. Living room has a queen sleeper sofa for extra guests, and updated bath is spectacular. Outdoor balcony seats 4-6 for dinner and cocktails. Beautifully appointed furniture makes for a cozy retreat. Our full size kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to cook a gourmet dinner, and mix up frozen drinks for you and your guests. Peter and I have been owners at Sapphire Village for 14 years. We have enjoyed the Caribbean for many years and love sharing our vacation home with others.

Why Jane Huntington chose East End

After searching all the islands in the Caribbean, we settled on the beautiful island of St Thomas. With it's close proximity to St John many of our renters enjoy taking the ferry back and fourth...it's like having 2 vacations in one. The snorkeling at Sapphire Beach is the best on the island, you can see that from my photos.

What makes this condo unique

We spend most of our time on the balcony. Enjoying the fantastic vistas over the Virgin Islands and the British Virgin Islands. While renovating our condo we wanted to keep true to the unique character of the original architecture. The arch in the kitchen and the textured walls you will see throughout the Caribbean. Watching the action in the Marina with the fishermen, jet skis and parasails, is a sport in itself. Having the extra space in the one bedroom and the large kitchen and bath make for a very roomy and relaxing vacation.

The location is excellent, a very short walk to an amazing beach and a mile to the ferry dock if you'd like to visit St. John or Tortola.

Jane has thought of everything to make visitors feel welcome. There are brochures about everything on St. Thomas and the neighboring islands. Everything about our stay here in this rental was excellent. EVERYTHING



I recommend this rental 100%.

Our stay was fabulous, couldn't have asked for a better time.

Beautiful place by the ocean

Everything about this place speaks relax, enjoy, you are on island time. Beautiful and very clean condo overlooking sapphire beach. Waking up and having breakfast on the balcony overlooking the spectacular views of the Virgin Islands, walking down to the beach for some sun or snorkeling on their very own coral reef, having a cold drink or something to eat at the on property restaurant Slice VI after a day at the beach. Snorkeling equipment, beach towels, beach chairs provided. This property also has a Marina where you can schedule a day trip to see the Virgin Islands, snorkeling, etc. Close to Red Hook and the Ferry to St John - it's a quick 2 minute safari bus ride. We will be back.

Could not have asked for more...Perfect stay

A friend and I rented this unit after booking a somewhat last-minute trip. The airfare was low, and we were ready to go!!! :) The owner was very easy to work with and answered my questions very promptly. We both found the unit to be very clean and really nicely decorated. We used both the bed and the sofa bed in the living room, and both of us slept very comfortably. The view is outstanding...I mean outstanding! It really offered everything we needed to have a great stay, and we did! I just checked availability for next Spring (which will be my 3rd trip in 12 months) and it is booked, but I will definitely stay again in the future. Highly recommend. Thanks so much!

Great unit/great location

My wife and I just returned from two wonderful weeks in St. Thomas. We feel very fortunate we landed this incredible unit through VRBO. 3rd floor unit with truly the best views at Sapphire Village. The unit is well equipped, a great floor plan, clean, comfortable, homey, and well taken care of. We will be back and are very grateful to the owners for sharing their special home away from home.

Great place to stay on the island

Located just outside of Red Hook the condo is perfect for visitors with or without a car. It is modern, clean and very well equipped for any length of stay with magnificent views. There is a queen bed in the bedroom and a pull out sofa in the living room. The mattress was nice and firm for me but my wife thought it was a bit too hard, I guess everybody has their own preference when it comes to mattresses. The pull out is what you would accept, it is what it is. The dishwasher was broken during our stay so did dishes by hand. Marina and Sapphire beach is just a short stroll through the parking lot. Sapphire beach has everything you would want, white sand, water sports, snorkeling so there is really no need to visit other beaches other than the ones on St John that can be reached from the marina in Red Hook (about 2 minute by car). Great BBQ joint at the entrance to the resort and lots of places to shop, eat and catch some good happy hour drinks in Red Hook. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is the frequent power outages (4 nights out of 5) we experienced during our stay. I learned that it is a common occurrence on the island and the locals have learned to deal with it. To sum it up, could be 5 stars if you don't mind going without power for periods of time, otherwise it's definitely a top notch place.

Absolutely beautiful spot

The view from this rental is absolutely spectacular. It's the first thing you notice and draws you right out to the private balcony. We spent nearly all our time on the balcony when we were not at the beach or exploring the USVI. The condo is beautifully decorated and spotless. Newly refurbished bath is just lovely. You will find everything you need is provided. Lots of toys for families with children, large, fluffy beach towels, cooler, beach chairs and much more. Sapphire is our favorite beach on St Thomas. I like the shade provided by the sea grapes and if you like snorkeling, it is one of the best spots on the island. Take an day sale from the on-site marina, rent a jet ski or just kick back and order a beverage from your beach chair. There is a nice restaurant right on sight (Sapphire Bar & Grill) or you can grab a cab and go to any number of fine restaurants on the island. We will definitely be back to enjoy this tropical gem in the future.

Stunning Views, Warmth and Relaxation

This particular slice of paradise is our favorite escape. Each year when we return, the stunning views as we walk through the front door just take my breath away. When your eyes adjust to the turquoise Caribbean Sea, and you glance at your interior surroundings, you will find that it is tastefully decorated, warm, friendly and very, very pretty. The newly renovated bathroom is spa-like with high end fixtures. And of course, the entire place just sparkles with cleanliness.

The owners have thought of everything to make your vacation complete. So grab a cooler, load it up with ice and treats from the full size fridge, collect the water noodle and goggles and head for the beach. OOPS don’t forget your chairs; they are out on the balcony. Be forewarned, when retrieving the chairs you could get lost in that view! But, that’s OK . . . you’re on “Island Time,” a delightful state of mind.
