DINING OPTIONS : The condo has a fully-equipped kitchen. Wide variety of food delivery is available from numerous local restaurants. There are many restaurants throughout the island, including Red Hook - 1 mile away. Rent a car, call a taxi or take the $1 bus that leaves from the end of the driveway.

SEE NEARBY ISLANDS - The Red Hook ferry is only a mile from the condo - leaving every hour for the short trip to St. John. Visit Cruz Bay for leisurely shopping near the ferry dock, further on at Mongoose Junction or for dinner on the 'quiet island.' You can take your car on the car ferry or rent a taxi for a day trip to snorkel and explore multiple beaches like Cinnamon Bay, Hawksnest, Turtle Bay and Trunk Bay. Another ferry makes day trips to the nearby British Virgins - Tortola, Virgin Gorda, and Jost Van Dyke.

DAMAGE DEPOSIT: $500 damage deposit is required. Damage deposit is fully refundable within 30 days after rental, provided no missing items or damage to property.

RESERVATION DEPOSIT: Two nights' rent is due within 7 days of reservation, which will be credited against the full rental price. The balance is due 30 days prior to your arrival. Reservations will be held for 7 days from your reservation date. If your deposit is not received within 7 days, the condo will be available for booking.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Fall, Winter, Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Year Holidays - Refunds only if property can be re-rented for the same period. If re-rented for the same period, there is a 10% re-booking fee; if not, no refund will be made.

Summer: In all cases, if condo is re-rented, only a 10% re-booking fee will apply. Otherwise, terms are 30+ days notice, full refund less a 10% re-booking fee. A cancellation fee of 50% of the total rental charge applies if cancelled on 16-30 days notice and the unit is not re-rented. Less than 16 days notice, no refund.

CHANGING DATES: Based on availability rental dates may be changed, however,a $100 change fee applies and is payable in full prior to arrival.

Exquisite Beach Vacation

A few years ago, we were introduced to St. Thomas as part of a cruise vacation. Enjoying our brief visit so much, we decided to make the island our vacation destination this time. After researching popular locations and accommodations on St Thomas, we discovered Sapphire Beach and Crystal Cove Condos. Upon contacting the owner of this particular unit and arranging our stay, we were very courteously and thoroughly educated on the specifics of how to best enjoy St. Thomas and Sapphire Beach. Over the years, the owner has painstakingly compiled a comprehensive guide that details attributes of the condo unit, the condo property, Sapphire Beach and St. Thomas and shared it with us prior to our arrival. Not only was the guide useful before arriving - in securing car rental and planning day trips, we carried it with us throughout our stay - locating grocery stores, restaurants, ferries, fishing spots, shopping areas, where to go, where to avoid, etc.

The condo, itself, is conveniently located, lovely and far more spacious than the pictures indicate. Given that we arrived after dark, we were grateful that the onsite agent had turned on lights in the unit to welcome us. Our entire stay, we felt completely comfortable and safe in the unit. Plenty of linens, towels, a wonderfully efficient washer/dryer unit, two bathrooms, a fully appointed kitchen, cable tv, comfortable beds and seating and, of paramount importance to our teenage sons, WIFI, made the unit feel like home away from home. Finding appropriate words to describe the view of Sapphire Beach that greets you when you open the door of this unit is difficult. Breath-taking, stunning, surreal come to mind, but don't completely paint the picture. Of all the things we did in St. Thomas, relaxing and playing on Sapphire Beach was our favorite activity. My sons learned to snorkel and witnessed amazing underwater life right off this beach. Kayaks were available just down the beach and if we simply wanted to relax in beach loungers, graciously provided by the Crystal Cove attendant, the water was full of activity to entertain watchers - parasailing, wind surfing - a constant breeze blowing .

In our opinion, Sapphire Beach is without equal, truly. We definitely plan to return and would not consider staying anywhere other than this unit. Thank you so much for sharing your piece of paradise with us, Sandy, and for your great support and assistance in making our vacation memorable.

No better place to stay on St. Thomas!

We have stayed on St. Thomas many times and always go back to Crystal Cove. It is so quiet, the beach is fabulous and we love that there is ALWAYS a breeze blowing from St. John. The beach is not as hot as some other places on the island.

This was our first time staying in this unit and we enjoyed it very much. The unit is well maintained, very clean, spacious and bright. It has a nice kitchen with everything to be able to cook your meals if you so desire.

Crystal Cove is a gated community and feels friendly and safe. During the day, there is always a beach attendant to help you with chairs and other needs. We love Diane! She always has good recommendations about where to eat!

We normally rent a car while on the island, but it is also easy to get taxi service anywhere you would like to go. Red Hook is nearby and has many great restaurants.

The owner was extremely helpful and communicated with us well.

We would highly recommend Crystal Cove and this particular unit.

Awesome !

Everything mentioned on this page are quite accurate and we completely enjoyed vacation.

Emerald blue clear sea water, clean and luxury and well-equipped and secured condo, kind and supportable agent on site, daily maintenance beautiful condo yard, complimentary comfortable beach chair, convenient beach shop with rental gear, large amount of towel...washer and dryer enabled us to always use clean towel and clothes...everything were wonderful.

Kitchen has full are luxuary and clean... we purchased food and drink on shopping center near red hook. Taxi driver working at condo took us whenever and wherever we want at reasonable fee... Support agent on site introduced him on the day of arrival and it was quite convenient as there was no commercial taxi waiting near condo area.

We rented wave runner at nearby marina of walking distance and was very exciting experience for us.

The only one disadvantage of this condo is WIFI. WIFI service is provided about $32 per week but did not work well and we gave up connection.

Finally this is the most important advantage of this condo...condo owner is very reliable gentleman and I communicated with him closely on the phone from initial inquiry phase, so we had no concern before checkin through check out...fully relaxed.

The WiFi issue is, unfortunately, one that we too have experienced on occasion. While the unit is WiFi ready, WiFi connection is arranged by guests directly with the internet service provider for the complex. The guest reported that the provider refunded his connection charge. We will continue to push for more consistent, reliable internet service in an effort to insure an even better guest experience. We're very pleased that in all other respects our guest and his family found the unit, the property, and the amenities so much to their liking.

Roomy condo, very clean and comfortable, fabulous view, quiet beach with constant gentle breezes

We have been coming to St. Thomas for more than 30 years and this was our favorite place to stay.Very quiet and well maintained complex. Condo was roomy and spotless. And the beach is the best one on St. Thomas. Views of St. John and the British Virgin Islands, crystal clear water, white sand, constant gentle trade winds, free lounge chairs on the beach, sea grape trees and palms for shade, snorkeling on both ends of the beach...everything you need to relax in one place. And shopping is nearby without the need to go into the main city. Thank you for such a great stay. Our family will definitely be back!
