Great stay, beautiful place!
Easy and very accommodating.
This is the second time we've stayed at this Heavenly condo during our daughter's dance competition. We prefer to stay at a house with a kitchen, rather than at a stinky casino. The views from this condo are beautiful, it's only a short drive down the mountain, and we enjoy having access to a pool. All around great place to stay in the beautiful mountains.
This was a great location nearly Heavenly with quite the view off the decks! Heather was great to work with for information about the rental and even met us at the condo to show us around. Everything was clean and ready for our stay! We used the community pool and hot tub, as well - great to have those nearby. It was a short drive down the mountain to lots of restaurants, shopping and sightseeing. I would definitely stay here again!
Great place, great location, incredibly helpful management!
My family of four planned to leave Saturday morning and stay three nights. On the Friday evening before departing, we heard on the news that the weather was predicted to be so bad that they were likely going to close the highway. I contacted Heather (property manager) and she said she’d run over to the property that night and get everything set up so we could check in a day earlier. This saved our trip, as the storm was so bad we’d certainly not have made it the following day.
It was great being able to walk to the Stagecoach lift or take a shuttle to Stagecoach or Boulder Lodg.
Nicely laid out condo - perfect for four. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment and utensils.
Many thanks for making this trip a success!
Nice place great views
39 stairs plus
Living room and kitchen were nice. Good views of the valley. BUT, you have to walk down 39 stairs which had not been cleared of snow (it hadn't snowed for two days); and then inside are 13 stairs down a narrow spiral staircase to get to the two bedrooms. The bed is REALLY high, with two wood steps to get up on each side (dangerous when getting up at night). The decks were unusable because they also had not been shoveled. The cleaning people left bed sheets and towels in the dryer, and despite the sign from the owner that said take out the lint, clearly no one had in a long time. The HOA hot tub is a DRIVE away. Overall, this place was not really as advertised. The parking was difficult (and then when it did snow, the HOA plow decided to clear a space next to where we had parked that evening on the end...pushing all the snow against the right side of our car! The place is located near Stagecoach, but it is not convenient as it requires walking a long way, or driving around to the parking lot, or walking to a shuttle stop (the drivers are really nice and will drop you off).
Thank you for taking the time to let me know your feelings on the condo, but I do think your rating is off because of your assumptions and lack of knowledge of the area. As you can see from the other reviews, most everyone else is very happy with the home. Yes, there are stairs to all the homes in the area because the neighborhood is built on the top of a mountain in order to get those spectacular views. Per your suggestion, I have added it to the property description. I was personally there prior to your check in and the stairs were cleared and I spread ice melt on them as well. There is also a large container of ice melt at the front door which you are more than welcome to use if the stairs become icy, which can happen when you are at the top of a mountain during the winter months. The master bedroom has a wonderful and comfortable king bed that has two steps to get into the bed which is quite lovely when you are looking at the great view from it. I have notified housekeeping of the bed sheets that were in the dryer prior to your arrival. They remove the lint after every load that is dried, but they forgot to pull out the extra bed sheets prior to your arrival. My apologies for that. The hot tub is about a half mile away, but it is centrally located in the neighborhood since it is a communal hot tub. Parking is not really that difficult. There is ample open parking spaces right out front of the condo and during snow removal times, there will be snow that must be cleared around the cars. It is all part of the experience of coming to the mountains during the winter months. Stagecoach lift is also a half mile or so from the condo and the shuttle stop is literally at the top of the stairs of the condo. It stops every 15 minutes on weekends and holidays and every 30 minutes midweek. So all in all, the condo is a fantastic upper mountain experience.
