Poor communication and many red flags
Had a hard time with communication throughout entire preparation for the trip. Was told by one person I would receive check in information 3-4 days before then didn’t receive anything until the morning of, would ask 2-3 questions and only get a reply to one, would get confirmation emails on such details that weren’t actually true. One of the biggest things is i was told there is parking spaces (in initial advertisement and in confirmation email the morning of)—- showed up to be told nevermind no parking. Was told we could drop our items off in the house 2hrs before check in when we arrived (“no problem”) —- walking in to the house being left absolutely disgusting, with the door to the apartment wide open- the company informed me it hasn’t been cleaned yet, but I feel I should have been given a heads up and the door being wide open was a red flag to me (on top of all the miscommunication I had prior). Came for a bachelorette and the girls did not feel safe staying here, had to find a hotel last minute.
Nice property, unresponsive management
Overall, this was a good value, nice property and my family had a good stay, but the landlord/manager was unresponsive. The futon in the living room was busted when we arrived and I contacted all the numbers given to ask where the pump for the air mattresses were and I never heard back. That's just bad form. We expected more responsive service.
Also, I felt a little deceived because I emailed before booking to ask about parking and was told that parking is no problem at all, only to be instructed once we received the check in materials that the property has only one - shared - parking spot. In the end, parking was not an issue, as we ended up parking three cars in the super tight space on the side of the house, but I didn't like being given wrong information before booking.
Nice inside. That’s about it.
The parking situation was terrible. We were told a number of times our car would or be towed because we were not given a parking permit. We ended up having to park away from the property and retrieve our vehicle the following morning. When I called the owners to discuss there was no answer. I left a message and still have yet to receive a call back. Very unprofessional.
