This house is in a great location, we could look across the valley at the mountains and out the back across the desert to more mountains. This home is in a quiet spot where we could look at stars, watch birds visiting, and walk out into the desert just outside the backdoor. There is lots to do in town and the surrounding area. In March, we were lucky to see a wonderful display of blooming cacti and wildflowers. The weather gave us a couple of interesting days of wind advisories, beautiful changeable light on the desert, and colourful sunsets. The house lives up to its pictures-decor is wonderful. And that stove is amazing. Rob is an accommodating host. We would highly recommend this home to anyone who likes the desert.
Every morning was a joy to experience when you looked outside any window to see expanses of the Anza Borrego desert! There are plenty of spaces to sit and enjoy sun or shade all around the home. The neighborhood is quiet and surroundings are so pleasant. The house is very comfortable and I loved using the Flair stove! The TV and internet were very good. The house is well maintained and nicely decorated with retro pieces. It was even better than the pictures. The owner was attentive and responsive to all our needs. We made this mid century modern house our home for a month and will be very happy to return.
PERFECT summer getaway. I’ve stayed here twice before in the winter but decided to take a summer vacation this time. I chose this home because of it's solitude on the edge of town. It's very quiet with no homes out back and rarely does a car pass by. The interior has the perfect balance of retro-cool and modern convenience, It's tastefully furnished and the beds are very comfortable. I took advantage of the neighborhood pool every day and I had it to all to myself. Looking forward to returning!!

My Wife and I had a most enjoyable month staying at this amazing property in Borrego Springs. We absolutely loved the vintage furniture and modern art work. We had many warm winter evenings at the fire pit enjoying the star gazing. The Bed was very comfortable and the views from very room were exceptional.
After a bad winter in NJ we decided to take April off and go spent a month in the Borrego Springs desert. Living thru the 50's we really enjoyed the clean Mid Century Home. Rob was very friendly and told us about the various restaurants in DOWNTOWN Borrego Springs. We tried them out and were very pleased. They even had free music. On the weekend we enjoyed a Feasible at the circle. The American Legion clubhouse is also within walking distance. The house was great and there was plenty to do including restful views allover.
