Great spot, great views, great hospitality
We had a very relaxing time, with access to wonder the property. The Mt Macedon Post Office and Pub are only a 5min walk up one end of the road and Mt Towrong Winery a 5min walk in the other direction. There's also walking tracks if you're feeling energetic. Or just go nowhere and enjoy the serenity outside your door.
Thanks Anne & Mike
Wonderful serene hideaway.
Loved our stay! Anne and Michael are warm and generous hosts and the cottage is delightful. Definitely coming back to this gem of a place.
The house is great and the property is lovely. Lots of birds and evidence of other wildlife. Privacy. Very peaceful and quiet. Short walk to the shops in Mount Macedon. Warm and polite owners.
Splendid Autumn foliage. Nearby concerts held at Hanging Rock (approx. 10 km). The property is a registered Land For Wildlife, with regular visits from wallabies, koalas, wombats and deer. Birdlife abundant, from bronze-winged pigeons, crimson rozellas, honeyeaters and cockatoos as well as king parrots, laughing kookaburras and wedge-tail eagles. Memorial Cross at top of Mt. Macedon and the Camel's Hump offer interesting easy walks and panoramic views.
