FIVE STARS!

  • 5 of 5

Our family of four adults, a toddler and an infant thoroughly enjoyed Twin Peaks! Home was very clean, split bedroom plan was perfect, and the decorating was very tasteful. Kitchen was clean and easy to cook in with enough room to prepare and the table was just right for all of us. Living room was very comfortable, as was the beautiful porch. We were able to gate off the porch and enjoyed most of our time out there with the toddler and her toys. We brought our Harley and rode the beautiful roads in the area. It was so nice to be able to put the bike in the garage each night. Communicating with the owner, Russ, was always easy and response time was immediate. Home was easy to find and there was enough parking for two full size vehicles, a bike trailer and our motorcycle. The fire pit was another nice plus. We enjoyed having fires and smores on several nights. There were PLENTY of towels, and if you forgot something - you will probably find it in one the baskets in the bathrooms. Thank you Russ and Becky for sharing your lovely home with us - we had a great time! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Twin Peaks was well maintained, very clean, in a great location and had everything you needed!

  • 5 of 5

We have vacationed in the Murphy area as well as other parts of North Carolina multiple times over the years and have stayed in many cabin rentals during that time frame. I have to say, we really enjoyed our stay at Twin Peaks. The cabin itself was gorgeous, both inside and out. It was beautifully decorated and very clean with all the amenities you would have at home. Russ was super easy to deal with and very responsive. Any time I sent an email there was a very timely response. We had no problems with the directions to get there, the code to the lockbox, etc. All went very smoothly. We love the Murphy area and the location of the cabin was convenient to town. We chose the Murphy area as it is close to the Ocoee and Nantahala for rafting. We enjoyed reading the comment book that was on the table in the living room and seeing what other people did on their stays in the area. Gave us some ideas of other things to do as well. I really don't have any suggestions as it seems Russ and Becky have pretty much thought of everything!

Lovely!

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay at Twin Peaks! The cabin is charming and very comfortable! We loved the floor plan, being in the trees, and found the porch to be most relaxing! We did some driving while visiting the area; Blairsville, Blueridge and to the Dam one day for a nice picnic lunch. We traveled in from Asheville and it was a little challenging to locate, but our GPS was on target. Thank you Russ and Becky for sharing your cabin! It is lovely!

Twin Peaks is more then what is advertised. The cabin is beautifully decorated, clean, well equippe, and in a safe great location. Russ and Becky have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and welcoming! We trailered our ATVs, and Harley m/c. September At Twin Peaks

  • 4 of 5

My wife and I stay at Twin Peaks for one week during September 2015. I summarise our response as follows:- Lovely cabin in a wonderful location in the mountains. Overall accommodation and facilities were excellent, (e.g. kitchen, bathrooms dining area and lounge). Ample towels, bedding etc. For European tastes the abundance of mountain themed ornaments and fittings was too much, (i.e. 35 bear themed articles, animal sculls, etc).

We had some difficulty finding the property as only the name was given - no house member or gps coordinates. Other than not - had a great. I don't know what else I can say.

Owner's Response: I am sorry that you had difficulty finding the home. Step by step directions where emailed to you that contain address and turn by turn instructions. GPS coordinates are very hard to use in the mountains when driving a car as it will not show you roads to turn on as many of them in the mountains are not listed.

This cabin is in a great location for sightseeing in Western North Carolina. The home was very clean, beautifully decorated and spacious enough for 4 adults and one child. Would recommend to family and friends.
