Located 1.5 miles from downtown Leavenworth and a short walking distance to the Wentachee River, the Evergreen Haus is nestled on a private wooded lot with abundant wildlife. This large luxury home is located very close to downtown Leavenworth on the third fairway of the Leavenworth Golf Club, which is open to the public for golf in the summer and used as a cross country ski area in the winter!
This roomy home has 5 bedrooms and 3 baths. There is plenty of room for several families, including 2 separate living areas. Being surrounded by trees and wildlife gives the home a private natural feel even though it is right in the middle of everything. Wireless Internet access is included and we have great cell phone coverage that is not available in some of the other outlying areas. And, don’t forget the hot tub!
This VRBO partner has demonstrated and is committed to fast response times, the best rates, and a great guest experience.
We are native Texans who have fallen in love with the beautiful Northwest Cascade Mountain area of Leavenworth.
Debbie Morgan purchased this chalet in 2013
We love wildlife viewing and this location provides frequent visits of deer, quail, squirrels, woodpeckers, Canadian geese and assorted other species including a very tame raccoon family. The golf course is a highway for creatures. Locals tell us that bear will come by during the salmon runs headed to the Wenatchee River that is only steps away.
Nice comfortable house; great location
This is our 3rd winter staying at this rental and once again we loved it! The house is great and owner responds quickly to any questions. I highly recommend this rental if you are looking for a leavenworth vacation with family and/or friends.
We spent 4 days here for a family gathering. It is in a good location and the owner was easily accessible by phone when we had concerns. There are sufficient dishes/silverware/kitchen items but very poor quality. Some of the mugs are not microwave safe, as some of the family discovered after heating up a cup of water for tea. For a house that sleeps this many, I was surprised there is no teapot and the toaster can only accommodate 2 very small pieces of bread. While there was sleeping for the number indicated in the description of the house, there were not enough sheets for the futons and the blankets were inadequate. Two of the stools and one of the chairs in the living/dining room were broken; an electric outlet in the kitchen was not securely attached which became apparent when unplugging an appliance; large living room window had a crack in it that started out 1/4 of the way up and by the time we left was all the way up (I let owner know and she said it would be replaced soon); pictures of the house on Home Away site showed 2 table games downstairs but only one was there (foos ball) with no balls included to play it; of the few board games there parts were missing. Overall, of all the houses we have rented over the years on Home Away this was the only one we didn't give a 5 star to. I suspect the owner does not visit the house often so may not be aware of what it needs to bring it up to a 5 star rental. I don't think it would cost much or take much time to bring some of the deficiencies of this house up to par and then it would be a good house for large groups to rent.
Great home with plenty of space and wonderful amenities. The location was perfect, close enogh to town but not in the middle of the bustle.
What an incredible place. The house was amazing. Our family made so many memories because of this place. We had a beautiful white Christmas! The house was everything we had hoped for and more. The owner was always available if you needed anything. We will definitely be back to make more memories.
This house was perfect for our trip! Close to town, great sledding hills, very clean and provided entertainment for all ages.
Everything we needed was provided for our stay as far as linens, dishes etc. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a cozy place in Leavenworth.
