About Tom and Anita Bostick
I have traveled a good part of my life and picked the Memphis area to retire to. It is a beautiful area with so much to do I have always enjoyed Blues and the rich history of the Delta area along with all the goings on in and around Memphis as well as being just 10 minutes from over 9 Casinos in the area.
Tom and Anita Bostick purchased this House in 2001

Beautiful Home in Quiet Setting
We had a great time at the house. It was clean, quiet and had everything we needed. The beds are very comfortable. Multiple living spaces for different conversations. If we ever make our way back to Memphis, we will definitely stay here. One thing, the stickers in the tub to keep one form slipping are coming off. You may want to replace those.
Beautiful roomy house with comfortable beds
We loved the stay. I brought my parents to stay here along with us and they loved the place. Plenty of room to stretch your legs, close to Tunica (for my stepmom) and Memphis. The house has plenty of the necessities in the kitchen to cook . Even though the driveway is extremely steep, the walkway is lit up for the evening and very manageable for the walk to the front door. I would high recommend this house if you are in the Memphis/Tunica area.
The house was perfect for two families-2 master suites, large kitchen, screened in porch, plenty of parking. Very happy with our stay in this house
House is nice, clean and roomy I really enjoyed my weekend the only problem was that it was not as close to the event I was attending it said that it was near beale street it was not but it wasn't a big deal I enjoyed myself and the property and I would rent this again the owners were very nice
Latoya thanks for the review sorry if location was a problem but we do say in any of our descriptions "25-30 minutes from Beal and Graceland and we are. Were located between the Casinos atTunica and Memphis, quite neighborhood but close enough to get in and out Convieniently. Were glad you enjoyed your stay and found the house to be accommodating
Lovely quiet home
We loved our stay. The beds were so comfortable. The setting is so peaceful. The home is in a very nice neighborhood. Tom was always available - before and during our stay. He was extremely accommodating.
Mary it was our pleasure having you as our guest and our cleaning staff appreciated very much the way you left the home. We are glad you had a pleasant stay Best Regards Tom &Anita
Perfect location, spacious.
The property was perfect for our reunion. It was spacious, providing plenty of room for the size of our party. My only recommendation would be doing a better job ensuring the property is cleaned after guest leave and before guest arrive. There were dead spiders on the floors and in the shower. Spider webs around the doors and hanging from the ceiling. Tub is the master bathroom didn't appear to be clean. Overall good location. I would stay there again.
Glad you found the house accommodating as for the dead spiders that can occurs at anybody's home we use pest controls and clean after each guests stay but there can be days to weeks between the next guest arrival our house keepers come back in and do a light dusting before each guest if it has been a week or so between guest but sometimes they may miss a cobweb or a dead spider in the shower it doesn't take long for a little spider to make a little web in the corner as anyone who has Ilved in the south by a lake can tell you but we do clean and dust ceilings and corners but we can miss one once in a while hope it did not spoil your stay and we will try to address this as we go thanks for your visit and the way you left the property we were pleased as well. Thanks for the review.
Whether you are visiting the Memphis area for fun or business or a little of both, our house is a great location in a quiet neighborhood right on the lake. We are 25 minutes from the Memphis airport and Graceland, if Elvis is your thing. We are less than 30 minutes from downtown Memphis, the heart of B.B. King’s “ Bluesville” and Beale Street and famous restaurants like the Rendezvous where some of the best BBQ ribs you will ever have will be found. We are one hour from Old Miss at Oxford. There is also the FedEx Forum and AAA minor league baseball team the Memphis Redbirds. At the end of Beale Street, there is the mighty Mississippi River where you can steam up and down the Mississippi, visit Mud Island or The Cotton Exchange, where they chased Tom Cruise through the streets of Memphis in the movie, “The Firm”. A leisurely ride on the old time trolleys is a must. And don’t forget Memphis in May – a month long celebration of fun, food and world class musicians from Santana to Eric Clapton to blues legends Howling Wolf and Muddy Waters. They have all been there. If you like golf, there is an excellent course just minutes away, There are premiere golf course minutes from the house. A little further down the road are nine Vegas style casinos with every game imaginable poker, blackjack, slots, roulette, craps – just name your game – 24 hour action. Each casino has its own buffet, steakhouses, coffee bars and snack bars along with major name restaurants like Paula Deen’s at Harrah’s Casino. Or visit The Tunica River Park and Museum just 15 minutes away where you can board the Tunica Queen for a trip down The Mighty Mississippi River (visit their website for dates and times of operation). You will also find Top Star entertainment year-round at several of the casinos major venue auditoriums. Check the casinos for entertainment schedules. If you are in the area to explore the roots of blues, you are six miles from “Old Highway 61” where if you travel south you will come to the famous Crossroads of Robert Johnson fame in Clarksdale, Mississippi about 45 minutes south. Known as the cradle of the blues, dozens of famous bluesmen traveled Highway 61 from the farm lands of the delta, strait into downtown Memphis, Beale Street and Sun Records and the heart of the blues scene that is Memphis. All the honkeytonks and blues clubs are still open in Clarksdale. Come and rub elbows with bluesmen, famous and up and coming. You might even end up having a steak sandwich outside of one of the many clubs of Clarksdale talking to the guy beside you. It turned out to be Watermelon Slim. It is a wonderful place! I hope you will come and stay with us soon. There is more to do here than can be done in a week, but with a little effort, you can get a great feel for Memphis, the Blues and Tunica from our house. We hope to see you soon. Tom and Anita Bostick contact us at 1 (334) 354-8440.
