About Justine Koch

I'm a mother of three beautiful teenagers and I'm passionate about homemaking and guest hospitality. I love to make my family, friends and guests feel welcomed and comfortable.

Justine Koch purchased this cottage in 2007

Why Justine Koch chose Sonoma County

What makes this property unique is the property. We live on a little over an acre of land just minutes away from the Town Green. Our place is private, quiet and it has a rustic, relaxed vibe with charm that keep our friends and guests always feel at home.

What makes this cottage unique

The great benefits are the proximity to some of Sonoma County's best vineyards and wineries. From our home, our guests can enjoy a beautiful 20 minute bike ride through gorgeous wine country and enjoy a picnic while wine tasting at J Vineyards or Rodney Strong.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Arrived to a warm welcome from Justine who showed us around the cottage and pointed out all the amenities. Especially happy to discover freshly ground coffee, OJ, homemade peach preserves, eggs from Justine's hens, and a loaf of bread in the fridge for next-day's breakfast. Comfy beds, delicious linens and heaps of towels — all sparkling fresh and white. Loved looking out onto the back yard from my bed and seeing the tall trees and the big sky. Our room was tiny but with the bathroom en suite. Our friends' room was large with a big sofa and table and chairs but they had to come through the kitchen to use the bathroom. Really tasteful and comfortable. Wish we'd had time to sit outside around the fire pit..... next time.

Cute, comfortable house in a great location!

  • 5 of 5

We rented Justine's house for a wedding weekend and it was the perfect place for my group of 6. Beds were extremely comfy and we were walking distance to the downtown area, where we went wine tasting. There was some confusion about check-in due to a discrepancy between the rental agreement and the website, but otherwise it was a great place to stay! Justine was an extremely accommodating host.

Great 3 bedroom house on a little bit of property yet close to shops, restaurants and wineries

  • 5 of 5

Overall we had a very nice stay at this Windsor Cottage. When we first drove up, we weren't sure we were in the right place because the yard looked like it was undergoing some landscaping construction work (cinder blocks and mulch piles), but once we figured out where to go, we got into the house and everything was great. Three bedrooms, nice kitchen and living room, very clean. It's in a good location for walking into downtown Windsor for breakfast or coffee, or going to nearby Healdsburg and wineries in the surrounding area.

Nice Layout and Convenient to Everything

  • 4 of 5

We (me and two professional colleagues) actually stayed in the main house and the layout worked very well for us. Nicely appointed kitchen with a little breakfast nook and plenty of room to maneuver. Three very comfortable bedrooms and a nice living room/dining area. There's a nice deck off the front which flows into a yard with plenty of seating for you and visiting friends. Lots of space to park. The street is very quiet at night but busy during the day. It appears that they are working on the grounds - they should be lovely once complete. Would consider a return in the future.

Wine country comfort defined

  • 5 of 5

Justine was the consummate host. The cottage was cozy, cute and comfortable. We really appreciated how well appointed the kitchen was. So often rentals have the bare minimum. This place was the exact opposite. There as any cooking or serving pan or dish you could need. The bathroom was lush with beautiful towels and bedrooms with gorgeous linens. We highly recommend staying with Justine!

The Perfect Combo of Location and Amenities!!

  • 5 of 5

What a lovely cottage! It was perfectly appointed and very well located. After busy days in Napa and Sonoma we enjoyed dinners at home and cocktails out by the fire pit. Morning breakfasts on the patio were a great start to our day. Justine was a wonderful hostess! She thought everything right down to the little extras that a guest might have forgotten. We'll definitely be back!
