Our fully refurbished home, located on Tupelo Road, is in the heart of the totally renovated Sea Pines Golf Club (near the Marriott Monarch). Featuring the Heron Point course by Mark McCumber and the picturesque Ocean Course, Tupelo Honey has something for everyone! Don't miss your chance to stay in this tastefully appointed 3 BR, 2 BA home featuring a beautiful, HUGE SUNNY POOL. Our extensive landscaping not only adds to the appeal, but also offers maximum privacy.

Completely updated, Tupelo Honey is all about relaxed casual living with distinctive furnishings and refined extras. Also, the home is conveniently located near one of the many leisure and bike paths that cover the entire Sea Pines plantation - over 25 miles of paved paths! Of course, you can ride your bikes on the beach too.

Enjoy the open floor plan from the kitchen to the living area, perfect for entertaining and maximizing your vacation time with friends and family while taking in great views of the pool and deck. The open-style great room has a wrap-around sofa that is also a double-sleeper.

- A 55 inch HDTV with a Soundbar and DVD, awesome for watching movies with the family.

- A Bose Radio/CD combination with Wi-Fi compatibility for Pandora and an Radio/Amplifier connected to indoor and outdoor speakers that has local radio stations pre-programmed and also has a cable for connecting your smartphone or tablet to access your music apps

Off the living room is a remodeled sunroom/screened porch with new rattan furniture plus an HDTV. It also has windows for winter enjoyment!

Outside, enjoy the large 2-tier deck overlooking the pool while listening to your favorite music, reading or just plain relaxing! There's a table with 6 chairs on one tier and a new lighted pergola with large, cushioned wicker chairs on the additional deck by the master bedroom. Poolside, there's two chaise lounges and 4 additional chairs, an outside shower and a beach/pool accessories shed. Enjoy grilling? There's also a large Weber grill.

When it's time to say goodnight, retreat to your own large private bedroom, each with its own HDTV/DVD, ample closet and storage space. The private Master Suite, set to one side of the home, is pure luxury with a new king mattress, a TV & DVD, all-new furniture and a lavish master bath with a new "Driftwood" double-vanity, granite countertop and large 'spa-like' shower with skylight. The second bedroom has a new king mattress and the third bedroom/den has a trundle and sofa bed. Both the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms share a renovated bath with shower and tub.

The house also features an updated granite/stainless kitchen with a "new" GE stovetop/double-oven, dishwasher, chef grade hard anodized pots and pans, cooking utensils, cutlery, china AND a K-cup coffeemaker (along with a regular coffeemaker). We've been told we have one of the best equipped kitchens in Sea Pines!

- What arrangements are made to pick up a key?

Our home is equipped with an electronic 'keyless' entry system that is programmed with a special code. This makes it very convenient for our guests as they do not have to worry about picking up, getting locked out or losing a key.

- Are pets allowed?

Yes. We are one of the few rental homes in Sea Pines that allows pets. Please read our reviews from pet owners that have enjoying staying at our home.

- What if there is an issue while we are staying at your house?

Our home is professionally serviced by an island staff. All issues are quickly addressed with minimal disruption to your vacation.

- Where can we rent bikes and how much does it cost?

There are several bicycle rental companies on the island. Arrangements can be made for delivery & pickup. Bikes can be rented for $25-35/wk.per week. We do supply beach towels, 8 beach chairs & 2 beach umbrellas.

- How close are you to the beach?

Under 5 minutes by car, or an enjoyable 10 minute bike ride.

- Are you close to Harbour Town?

Yes, it’s an easy 10 minute bike ride, or 5 minutes by car.

- What size is your house?

Our single level home is over 2,000 square feet. The master bedroom is approximately 250 square feet and the other 2 bedrooms are about 200 square feet each (14 X 14). All bedrooms have ample closet and storage space and feature HDTV's.

- Do you have laundry facilities?

Yes. The separate laundry room has a new Samsung Washer & Dryer (purchased 10/'17). There's also a 2nd, full side refrigerator/freezer.

- Is your home for sale and could we have our vacation interrupted by an agent wanting to show the house?

No, our home is not for sale. We do caution prospective guests that are looking at other properties to check with the owner or manager to insure that the property they are considering is not for sale, or that they will not have their vacation interrupted by agents wanting to show the home!

- Do you offer discounts?

If your arrival date is less than 30 days away and our home is available, we will certainly work with you.

- Do we add cleaning fees to your listed prices?

No, this fee is included in the price, as well as all linens, towels and upgraded kitchen and bath necessities. The only additional fees are South Carolina Resort and Hilton Head taxes totaling 10%, a $50 per pet fee (if applicable) and the optional fee to heat the pool.

Born and raised in Newport, RI, the ocean has always been special to me. Whether sailing rails-in, fishing from the shore, surfing in the waves or just skimming rocks on the water, many pleasant memories were made there. When I moved to the south and met my wife Kathryn, we both longed for a getaway near the water. That's when we discovered Hilton Head Island. We've always loved vacationing in Sea Pines and after many pleasant stays, we finally decided to purchase a home. We truly are excited about Tupelo Honey and are looking forward to others enjoying all it has to offer.

With miles of safe, fun bike paths, you'll quickly find yourself not wanting to use your car, but walk or bike everywhere! That's what the Sea Pines Plantation and Tupelo Honey are all about - connecting with family, friends and the unique environment of the plantation.

What makes this house unique

This isn't a 'rental property' to us - it's our home! We want our guests to feel like they are staying in a special place, with all the amenities you'd expect in a resort home, along with the charm and comfort of a true 'beach' house. As you can see in the pictures - our recent renovations, along with the open floor plan, will keep you comfortable and connected with family and the outdoors. Imagine sitting at the dining room table, or on the screened porch, and having a fabulous view of the birds or the pool. Some evenings you will see deer slowly work their way through the area and disappear into the woodland area behind our home. We looked at many homes in the area before we purchased this house and began its' transformation into Tupelo Honey. You won't find a cleaner, more relaxed, open and fun house in the area.

We have tried to make Tupelo Honey as comfortable as possible. Completely renovated, we offer the finest furnishings, accessories, dinnerware / glassware and gourmet kitchen necessities - what we would expect if we were renters! We also supply 8 beach chairs, 2 beach umbrellas, beach towels and a host of local information; things to do, events, restaurants, shopping, etc. We have lawn and pool services as well to make your stay a pleasant one. When you arrive, all you have to do is unpack, bike to the beach or jump in the pool and start enjoying our home and the many sights and activities Sea Pines offers.

Positively perfect in so many ways...

We enjoyed a wonderful two weeks in this cozy and clean charmer. From the moment we stepped in the door, it felt like home. So much to love here. Our family enjoyed breakfast and coffee on the deck each morning.over looking a beautiful and private landscaped yard. We were in close proximity to the beach. We chose to drive but biking is doable if you have a bugger to carry your stuff. The pool was a bonus especially when our daughter came with her baby and toddler. The large entry step was the perfect kiddie pool. Lawton Horse Farms (literally around the corner ) was a biggy for us and we visited almost everyday with the wee ones.

We ate in most days and this is where I appreciated the thoughtfulness of a well supplied kitchen. Just when I thought they didn't have something I needed, it would miraculously show up. Seriously can't say enough about this home, all the "extras" which are too numerous to mention and the owners. John was just a quick email away and always answered in a timely manner. We are looking forward to a return visit next fall. Thank you for an amazing vacation.

Beautiful Sea Pines house, private pool!

This was be perfect rental house for our family. There were 2 couples and 2 kids and it slept 6 perfectly. It was beautifully maintained, the kitchen was stocked with everything, and gorgeous clean pool was perfect. It's a great location in sea pines as it is an easy drive or bike ride to the beach, Harbourtown, horse stables, restaurants. Would highly recommend.

Most welcoming!

Our family of 6 recently stayed at this lovely home. From the minute we entered, we knew we would have a comfortable stay here. The floor plan is wonderful, especially the kitchen area, and the convenient laundry/storage facility area right off of it. Our granddaughters, (ages 8 and 10) had a blast in the pool! My husband thoroughly enjoyed the nice patio area off the living room. We appreciated the conveniences of the pool accessories, beach chairs, and the outdoor grill. Thanks, John, for your assistance in providing all the necessary information we would need to ensure our stay at your home and the beautiful Hilton Head/Sea Pines area would be seamless.
