Kevin purchased this condo in 2013
Breckenridge has always been one of our favorite mountain towns and has been the driving force to renting The Nest out to people wanting to enjoy the town as we do.
The Nest is the perfect, luxurious base camp for any mountain activity such as biking, hiking, climbing, skiing, snowshoeing, sailing in the reservoir, or fishing for trout in the neighborhood pond.
This was a very nice condo that had everything we were looking for. I enjoyed going on short hikes on the trail in the backyard while my kids spent a lot of time in the hot tub, which is a community tub but we were the only ones in it the whole weekend. The condo is only a short drive from downtown Breck, so we would dine there most nights.
Location is great. Few minutes to Breck, Frisco,Dillon and Keystone. Pick up the bike path right down the road.Very well stocked condo. Paper products etc. Will replace what we use. Upon arrival all was clean. Had a question about the TV and called Kevin. Problem was resolved right away. Would recommend to anyone . Garage is great for keeping the bikes and work stand. When returning to the area I will definitely be in touch with Kevin. In fact we extended our stay on this trip.
7 minutes outside of downtown Breckenridge, plenty of room, big kitchen. Garage is attached but two small to fit large SUV's. Had a great stay!
We spent 11 nights in this well-appointed, comfortable condo, just 10 minutes from the free skiers parking lot of Breckenridge. The décor was lovely, the beds were comfortable (even the sofa bed), and everything was in top working order. I was impressed with the quality and quantity of the linens and towels (you know how some rentals skimp on these), and the very nice pots and pans and dishes in the kitchen. They even left a supply of zip-lock bags, aluminum foil, dish and laundry soap, and some spices. There is a Whole Foods in Frisco, about 15 minutes away, so we cooked every breakfast, and some dinners, and had everything we needed, except, perhaps, a blender. You can tell this is a well-loved vacation home, and we were very happy to be able to stay here.
Would definitely return in the future! Heated garage was a huge plus.
Have to start by saying the owner was courteous and helped us ship our sons pack and play mattress. We donated the whole set-up to the condo as he's getting taller and figured they could use it. If you like to cook the kitchen is big enough, unfortunately the stove and outside grill needed some help; stove took quite a while to warm up and the grill was covered in chicken from previous vacationers, no grill scraper, unfortunately we found out after we purchased some steaks. This is a bottom floor condo so you have to be used to noise from other neighbors; people walking up stairs in ski boots, partying etc...not really an issue I guess if you're young w no kids. All in all its a nice place and pretty convenient to Breck. Well appointed beds, washer, dryer, gas fireplace. Downside for us was cooking and some noise.
