All this and more awaits you at 'The Aberdeen.' Located in The Village of South Walton in Seacrest and just a few steps from Rosemary Beach, 'The Aberdeen' is a unit that beckons you to sit back, relax, and enjoy the sights, sounds, and more. Beautiful Highway 30-A will draw you in by the laid back pace and lush nature. Less known than Destin or Panama City, there is less traffic, less crowds, but many shops, restaurants, and activities to keep you entertained.

Each community along 30-A including Seaside and Grayton Beach - has its own style but all embrace relaxation as a way of life. You will find one-of-a-kind treasures in the quaint shops, gourmet meals from sushi and seafood to Tex-Mex and Italian, and an abundance of original art inspired by the eclectic way of life at the beach. All along 30-A there is a wide variety of shopping, dining, golf, water activities, live concerts, festivals, and on and on. You will not miss out on anything if you do not want to but part of what makes 30-A so enjoyable is that you do not have to do any of it, if you do not want to. Just stroll, sip, nap, or soak up the sun.

Whether you are looking for a place for your family or an adult’s only get-away, everything you need is in 'The Aberdeen.' Over 1400 square feet, this unit is the largest, three bedroom unit in the Village and our rental prices are comparable to the smaller three bedroom units. Just recently completed in the summer of 2004, this top floor, single level unit includes three bedrooms, two baths, kitchen, balcony, and large living, dining area with all the conveniences of home and the comforts of a cottage.

Luxury materials continue throughout the condo with imported travertine stone on the floors in the entertaining areas, bathrooms, and balcony, granite countertops in the kitchen, and marble in the bathrooms. There are TVs and VCRs in every room with DVDs in the Living Room, Master bedroom, and second bedroom. There is also wireless internet access in the condo.

The luxury master suite includes an extra large bedroom with beautiful views of the ocean, a private entry to the balcony, a king size bed, TV/VCR/DVD, and ample storage space. The large master bath has a double vanity, over-sized shower, and a jetted garden tub. Everything is decorated for comfort with soft and silky linens you can sink into.

The fabulous kitchen is ready for you whether you eat out or want to prepare a gourmet meal. It includes granite countertops, dishwasher, solid surface stove, and a large pantry. It is fully supplied with cooking utensils, pots, pans, knives, and small appliances. There is also a washer and dryer in the unit for your convenience.

The living and dining area is beautifully designed for comfort and enjoyment. There is a table for six as well as four stools at the bar. The living area includes a love seat and a sofa sleeper with a chaise lounge for you to sit back and relax. There is also an entertainment center with TV, VCR, DVD, and CD/Radio Stereo. The large windows and French doors fill the room with light and the view of the gulf is spectacular.

The beautiful travertine stone continues on the balcony where there is seating for four, a Charleston-style lantern, and Turkish limestone railing. The balcony is perfect for dinner or just a glass of wine to end the day.

There is a queen-size bed in the second bedroom and two twins in the third bedroom. Each room has ceiling fans, TVs, and a closet. The second bathroom provides plenty of space and is tastefully decorated with travertine stone and marble.

Don't feel like cooking. There are several restaurants within walking distance including the newly completed Open huts with shops and restaurants are surrounded by the grass-covered commons area of the Towne Centre of The Village of South Walton Beach. Each brightly colored, gabled unit is easily identified and inviting for both regular customers and newcomers alike. From sunglasses to souvenirs, hop into one of these kiosks to find just the right thing.

The white sand and emerald waters await you. Whether you are going for just a few hours or from sunrise to sunset, the beaches of South Walton are sure to please.

4) Beginning September 1, 2016, guests of the Village do not have access to the Seacrest Lagoon pool. The Village community pool is located behind building D.

Beach w/end with gal-pals

This unit IS NOT beachside - as the picture suggest - & access to the beach is not direct. You need to use the free tram to have access. The mirrors for the bedrooms were either in the closet or on the floor - not hung on the walls. It does have good access to the pools & the retail level shops & restaurants are very convenient. If you look just the right way between 2 of the buildings on the opposite side of the street, you do get a very narrow gulf view. Be sure & locate the manual - which may be "hidden" in basket between the chaise lounge & balcony window as this will give you some very good information. Coming in the summer - the bedrooms and the living room have ceiling fans! That's a nice perk. The kitchen was well appointed. Blankets were a little scarce. Since there were 6 of us, the digital door lock was nice - not having to keep up with door key or key cards. Other than that, it is a good unit. Elevator & luggage cart made for easy loading & unloading.

Great loation for a family!

My husband and I thought we would try staying in Seacrest this past June and came across this condo. I am so glad we found it! This condo was perfect for our family! We have 3 children (2 very young children and 1 teen) and this condo has plenty of room for everyone. The location is perfect - easy access to the beach, pool and dining. There are several dining options just steps away, which was so convenient for us to order take-out after our little ones were tired from all of the fun they had at the beach and pool. While they rested we were able to sit on the balcony and listen to the live music and watch all of the happenings! This condo also came with bikes and we were able to easily ride to Rosemary and explore all of shops and restaurants. My daughter (the teenager) loved (yes, I said loved) the beach, riding the bikes, the dining and shops! We are already checking our calendars to book again for next summer!

Condo Was Exceptional!

My family and I stayed at the Aberdeen for the first time and it will not be the last. We are already in the process of renting it for next year's summer vacation. We loved being so close to Rosemary without the stress and traffic. We also loved being near all of the shops and restaurants in the Village with the live music and entertainment. The condo came with its own bikes. Our family really enjoyed riding the bikes around town, so that is a huge plus. The location was great which made getting to the beach an ease. One of the best things in our opinion was the seacrest lagoon pool. So much fun. Will be renting again!

Fantastic Condo!

We stayed in this cozy condo this past June and we absolutely loved it. It was so fun being right in downtown Seacrest Beach square. Listening to the different live musical acts every night was a treat for me because I really love live music. The square also offered a variety of amazing shops, and restaurants that we enjoyed during the trip. The bikes were also an awesome perk of this condo, we really liked being able to explore, Seacrest, and other beach communities like Rosemary on bikes. We will definitely be back to this condo next summer!

Pretty disappointed:(

I will try to be as brief and as helpful as possible. I do not like to blast any business on social media because it is sometimes just not fair. However, I think there are some very important things that the owner as well as potential renters need to be aware of. Had I been informed completely I may have chosen a different place to vacation.

First of all, the unit needs definite updates. The couch is filthy and worn out. The shower curtain in the guest bath hadn't been changed in months. The pans for cooking were lacking. The front bedroom stayed much warmer than the rest of the unit. The carpet needs to be cleaned. I just didn't get a "luxury condo" feel at all. Not saying this to be negative. I feel the owner needs to seriously address these things.

Now about the complex itself.

I love the idea of it. I love the shops and restaurants being close, the live music at night, the family vibe. However, the inconveniences far outweighed the positives. The beach access is terrible! You take a tram there, which is fine, but if you want to ride bikes there, you cannot park anywhere near the access. So you might as well walk. Once you make it through the access, down the long narrow staircase..... Here is the kicker...

If you don't rent the RIDICULOUSLY priced rental chairs ($375 for a week! Seriously?) then you have to drag all of your stuff all the way down the beach, outside of the areas designated for beach chairs for several complexes. We did that for one day. That was enough. We discovered a public beach access down the road a little bit at inlet beach, where we spent the rest of our days on the beach. So that left me thinking, why didn't I just rent a place closer to a public beach instead of paying high dollar for a private beach that is absolutely terrible and overcrowded?

Then there is the pool.

It is beautiful. And huge. However, it is extremely crowded and there is no way you are going to find a few chairs together. And there is no saving chairs, they will just take your towel and your chairs. There is also no balls or toys of any kind in the pool except for blow up beach balls. We went to the pool a total of 2-3 hours for the whole week. So I ask myself again, why am I paying extra for these things?

We made the best of our trip. We loved the area, absolutely LOVED riding bikes everywhere. But overall we were very disappointed in the Village and the Aberdeen.

Wonderful Location and condo is fabulous

My family loves to stay here and the location could not be better. We love to rent bikes and ride all over the property. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance or you can ride your bike. This location will always be our favorite and we will stay here again soon!
