As a retired couple we found the house to be very well equipped and comfortable. Geoff, the owner, has done a splendid job of supplying the home with all the necessities that create a pleasing environment. Truly a place to revisit.
Our very first rental home experience has set some very high standards in the ring of competition. The owner provided a wonderful library of things to do & see while in their area. Sleeping and bath linens were scrumptious The Oro Valley community was vibrant, friendly and welcoming; plus provided plenty of choices of activities covering anyone's range of interests. I even learned how to play Euchre and showed my travel companion what Bocce Ball was. The rental home was well equipped and more than aptly supplied. We were comfortable the moment we entered the home and appreciated returning to the total relaxation the home provided after each day of adventure and exploration. Thanks to the owner Geoff for his supplied books of suggestions of activities and day trips and many, many thanks to his property manager, Pam, for her immediate response to our inquiries and needs. We are overwhelmed with appreciation in their efforts to ensure such a positive 1st timer experience for us. I even think they put in a special request that provided perfect weather conditions for two very winter weary visitors from Wisconsin and Indiana.
Thanks for your very kind review. I am new to the rental market as well, and you were the first to reply to my VRBO listing. It was during our telephone conversations setting up the details of the rental agreement and hearing about how much this vacation meant to you that I came to understand, as an owner, that it was my responsibility to provide you with more than just a place for you to stay. It was my job to do everything in my power to make your Arizona vacation everything you were hoping it would be. I am glad that that’s the way it turned out.
The greater Tucson area offers residents and visitors a wealth of opportunities for indoor and outdoor activities. Whether you prefer shopping at the major chain stores at the Oro Valley Marketplace or the smaller boutiques at Casas Adobes, eating at a national chain restaurant or some of the better local eateries in Tucson, you will have plenty from which to choose within 20 minutes of your front door. From Safeway to Trader Joe’s, Oro Valley has it all.
If it is outdoor activity you seek, options abound within 20 minutes of your front door, as well, from golf, tennis, swimming, running, walking and cycling within the community, to hiking the trails at Catalina State Park, Pima Canyon and Honey Bee Canyon. Tohono Chul Park offers a variety of structured and casual outdoor opportunities for those who want to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the Sonoran Desert and the native cultures that once thrived there.
If you are willing to travel up to an hour, all of Tucson’s major activities are available to you, from Mt. Lemmon and Sabino Canyon to the Desert Museum, Saguaro National Park and Mission San Xavier del Bac, not to mention the many cultural activities at the University of Arizona and the Tucson Museum of Art downtown.
