Beautiful Home!

  • 5 of 5

My family and friends stayed in this property over the February school vacation week and had a wonderful time. The Home was everything that was advertised and more, plus the Property Manager and Owner could not have been easier or more pleasant to deal with. The location worked for all concerned (downhill and x-country skiers) and we had plenty of room to spread out and relax after long day skiing. We will be going back!

Great House

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this fantastic property in January for a winter alumni weekend with a group of 15. There was plenty of room for everyone and the large kitchen and dining room was ideal for entertaining the whole group. We would very much recommend this house for a large group or family!

Paris Hill is only 50 miles from the Portland International Jet Port, 10 minutes from Oxford County Regional Airport, 30 minutes from two major ski areas and 15 minutes from the new Oxford Hills Casino and let's not forget the Oxford Plains Motor Speedway. Paris Hill is in a picturesque but remote corner of Oxford County with unsurpassed views of distance mountains and beauty. The view from Paris Hill is fifty miles west into the White Mountains of New Hampshire and two hundred years back into its own past. From the brow of the 831-foot hill above South Paris, local residents look across the same autumnal landscape of painted trees, ponds, and lakes that their forebears did, a panorama stretching all the way to Mount Washington. The best view is from the ancestral home of Paris Hill’s most famous resident, Hannibal Hamlin, vice president under Abraham Lincoln.
