Los Cabos House Rental Photos and Description

2 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, Sleeps 6-8

This is a one-of-a-kind location. Enjoy unspoiled beaches, great surf, swimming, excellent fishing (shore to sea), snorkeling, and of course, just relaxing. The house features views of the ocean, beach, and surf. Relax in the shade of the Palapa while watching whales or reading your favorite book. Everything that is fun to do in the water is right here. Explore miles of desolate beaches. The entire East Cape of Baja is easily accessible from the house. Or, enjoy the easy life under the Palapa and the beach right out front.

The house is an Eco-friendly green home powered by the sun. The system works in the background. Self sufficiency at its best, without the hardship. The home was built to American standards in 2005, designed to take advantage of the outdoor lifestyle that is such a part of the Cabo area.

The house is a two bedroom, two bath, with king beds in each room. The large living room features built in couches that easily convert for an additional two beds. Outside, under the Palapa, there are built in sofas that can sleep another four. The BBQ is located under the Palapa for cooking your fresh-caught fish, while enjoying the view of sand and sea.

This place is the perfect getaway for couples, families, and friends. We are located 17 miles East of San Jose Del Cabo. Supplies can easily be picked up from town prior to heading out. We also offer fully stocked vacation services, including airport pick up. Just give us a call for additional information and/or services offered.

About Ken

We have spent a lifetime exploring Baja with our now grown. I love to surf and my wife and I both love to fish and swim. Our kids are still a big part of our life and both have a deep love for the Baja experience. They are as excited as we are to have a home there.

Ken purchased this house in 2002

Why Ken chose Baja California Sur

It began forty years ago, traveling all over Baja, beginning with my Dad hauling us down to San Felipe for vacations. Four boys, a cramped ride, and we loved to bicker the whole way. It was awesome for us kids and we all got hooked on the experiences. I repeated the experience with my own kids camping, fishing and surfing in many remote Baja spots. Yes, my wife is amazing!

This was everyones favorite place to go, so when land to purchase became available we jumped on it and built our dream get away. Looking forward to our kids and their kids enjoying it many years into the future.

What makes this house unique

This is one place where all the best Baja beach living experiences are right here. We designed the home to take full advantage of the views and lifestyle. The beach is secluded and offers great surfing, fishing, diving, swimming, walking, and relaxing.

Breathtaking

  • 5 of 5

The legendary allure of old Baja awaits you at Casa Mar. On land, don't be surprised by the bold curiousity of wild burros and horses. In the sky, Orion and Cassiopeia brightly beg for discovery. At sea, great whales and their calves frolic continuously. And of course, a long, fun wave -- a la San Onofre -- will generate an abundance of stoke! Wind and weather can change quickly, but there are plenty of activities to accommodate any condition. A hand crafted margarita (using only tequila, lime, and agave nectar) qualifies as a sacred ritual on the Sea of Cortez! Only complaint is that we didn't have time to stay longer.

Beautiful Spot

What a great vacation spot. The house is perfect! A great place to stay for family and friends. The close proximity to the beach is ideal. Perfect beach for long walks, and all sorts of ocean activities. We will definitely be going back.

Favorite Getaway

  • 5 of 5

Our first thought approaching the stunning Playa Tortuga was how gracefully this Hacienda-style home adorns its hilltop…but then, as you walk inside you see the expanse of the Sea of Cortez and hear waves crashing on the stretch of beach below.

East Cape for our family is the best-kept secret in Baja. It provides a tranquil beach life far away from civilization. ?The house was located steps from great waves on the pristine, deserted white sand beaches of the Sea of Cortez. ?You can sometimes walk for miles on the beach without seeing another person.?? We surfed, fished from the shore, hiked, kayaked and beach comb. You can snorkel right off the beach or drive to nearby Cabo Pulmo National Marine Park, site of the only hard coral reef in the Sea of Cortez and home to huge schools of fish, sea turtles, whale sharks and groupers. ?

We will be back!

Three words: Beautiful! Beautiful! Beautiful!

  • 5 of 5

We had a fantastic time in this incredible home and can't wait to go back! If you're looking for the ultimate in rest & relaxation, this is THE place! We wanted for nothing. The home is uncluttered, bright, airy and well stocked with all the essentials for making everything from the perfect pancake to barbecuing fresh fish under the huge covered palapa. We enjoyed spectacular sunrises each morning without even getting out of bed! Each day we would brew our coffee, sit on the patio and take in the gorgeous morning... incredibly peaceful. The location is so private and unique, we walked the beach for hours and never saw another soul. We fished every rocky point and landed several types of fish I'd never seen before. (Note to self: remember to take camera out of shorts pocket before wading into the warm surf.) Afternoon siestas and Happy Hour cervezas rounded out our days. If you have transportation, make the trip to Floras Farm restaurant, a delicious meal in a beautiful setting. Whether you venture out or just stay put, there is no better spot to unwind and take in beautiful Baja!

Cabo Hideaway

  • 5 of 5

We have vacationed here 5 times and it never fails to deliver an incredible experience.

Imagine waking up to the sound of surf and an amazing view right out of your bedroom window. Get out of bed, grab a cup of coffee and walk outside under the palapa to check the surf. Grab your board and walk to the beach to surf the spot you would be driving to anyway.

My wife doesn't surf but she loves the private and peaceful beach. Laying out and relaxing or taking long walks combing the shore for shells. This place is awesome.

After all day at the beach come inside to comfy, clean and modern accommodations. Take a shower, make dinner in the nice little kitchen and enjoy the sunset from the comfort of the patio. Then start over and do it all again the next day. It doesn't get any better then that.

Close enough to town to get all the needed supplies but far enough away that the busy city is left behind and forgotten.

We love this place and will keep coming back year after year.
