CD and Jeanne developed a love of the desert southwest as newlyweds. There is nowhere else they would rather be, and they enjoy offering guests a personal opportunity to develop the same sort of connection. Jeanne is a consummate desert naturalist, with a wide lore of regional plants and animals, and enjoys practicing old-fashioned homesteading skills on the Ranch. CD is a computer and communications engineer, and an NRA certified instructor in pistol and rifle disciplines. They breed and sell mixed retriever puppies to adoptive families all across the US and Canada.

Why CD chose Morristown
We love big sky, wide-open spaces, loyal and happy animal companions, an independent lifestyle, and a dark night sky full of bright stars. Our 150+ acre ranch, surrounded by open-range leaseholds, lets us live our dream every day. Wickenburg—a town widely rumored to have more horses than sedans—is the ideal location for lovers of the honest old-fashioned western country life. When we found our dream ranch, we were pleased to discover it included the Bunkhouse, allowing us to share our quiet, private retreat with dozens of old and new friends every year.
What makes this House unique
Our Ranch is secluded and private, yet immediately accessible on a major highway. It's a great place for relaxation, recharging, contemplation, or (for family visitors of Wickenburg's world-class therapy centers) even rehabilitation. Petting all our friendly animals is great for your blood pressure! Or, if you're more the action type, the Bunkhouse is the perfect central location for you to plan your extreme assaults on any of dozens of Arizona attractions from the Grand Canyon to the Yuma sand dunes, including the Rangers and Royals spring training games, the Prescott Rodeo, the Arizona State Fair, Salt River tubing, cowboy mounted shooting events at Ben Avery, and many more warm-country attractions!
100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
Quiet and cozy
Better than a Wickenburg hotel. Quiet and close to everything. Family loved the place.
We had a very good time. House is nice and big. Off highway no noise. Our air conditioner was not working correctly host were very prompt in getting it fixed. Their dogs are very friendly and love to visit with you. If you are staying in the area I would recommend staying here.
it was awesome!!!
a quiet place with an great view thru the desert and the beautiful mountains in the background. We loved the bunkhouse! Very comftable with all you need. The owners were so nice and helpful with all questions. We hope to come back soon! Thank you Jeanne & CD
Wonderful and quiet place. Peaceful.
The owners were great. The house is spacious and private and perfect. The beds were comfortable. TV with netflix so you can choose and watch movies. We had fun petting the dogs and the donkey and the horses. Having coffee in the am on the porch looking at the sunrise and at night with a glass of wine was wonderful. The pool is beautiful but we did not use it. Maybe next time if the owners will have us again. Loved it.
We really enjoyed our stay in the bunkhouse. Jean and CD are wonderful hosts - very friendly and helpful. Our accommodations were clean and comfortable. We would love to return!
Peace in the desert
Wonderful getaway near Wickenburg. Full kitchen and laundry, comfortable bed and a large deck with a great view. So much wildlife to watch from the deck along with the precious dogs that the owners have, their horses and the most adorable donkey ever. This will always be my first choice to stay in the area.
