This beautiful second story end unit condo is remodeled (Sept 2013) from top to bottom making it one of the top 10 units at the Islander! Amenities include memory foam queen-size murphy bed, kitchenette including a full sized refrigerator, microwave, induction cook top, toaster oven, coffee maker and all utensils. Ceramic tile entry, bath and dressing area with large closet and mirrored doors. All bed and bath linen, beach towels, beach mats and beach chairs and included!
Dine on the beautiful lanai overlooking the lush tropical gardens, or dine in while watching a great movie on new flat screen TV. Condo has air conditioning, in room private high speed internet. Curl up after a day out in two over stuffed comfy chairs with a good book from the in room library or library in the visitors lobby.
Kona Islander is located in the heart of Kona Town. One hardly needs a rental car. Walk to numerous restaurants, shops, beaches and farmers market for fresh island produce.
Take the wiki-wiki bus the beautiful Magic-White Sands beach, or world class snorkeling spot Kahaluu beach, or movie theaters, or KTA Supermarket, or the International market place, or Target and Ross Clothing. It’s all so convenient to the Islander!
100 steps from the condo is a beautiful seating beach to enjoy the sunset, or 100 steps to the fabulous pool/ hot tub/ BBQ area to sunbath and lounging.

My folks have been coming and staying at the Islander for a few years and I always thought about buying a unit for friends to come and visit and stay. It's a beautiful spot and so conveient to town and activites.
I remodled my condo from top to bottom. Took 6 months and I'm really pleased with the outcome!
We really enjoyed our stay at the Kona Islander Inn. The place was clean and had lots of amenities to use during our stay: big beach towels, boogie boards, parasol, a big cool bag, etc. The kitchen had everything we needed, too. It was also very easy to get free parking for our rental car. The area itself is nice, lots of restaurants and shopping close-by but not too loud or crowded. There is also a nice, private pool area in the Kona Islander Inn itself and you can use washer and dryer for a few quarters just a few doors away. We traveled with our 4-year-old who used the extra air-bed, which was - according to him - super comfy. We had some problems with the shower during our stay but Bill was very eager to find a quick solution, which was great.
My daughter has been there for a month and it's just perfect! Very clean, safe, great location and has everything you need. A big Mahalo to Bill!
We stayed for 13 nights and loved it. Comfy bed and close to everything restaurants and beach.
The studio was clean, modern and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, take food to go and make drinks. The beach chairs are nice to have and make spending the day at a beach much easier. There are nice touches throughout the studio and arriving to a clean place was a welcome sight. We had a great time sitting on the lanai overlooking the gardens. We were surprised that the studio was so close to restaurants, shops and the beach, basically in the middle of everything. We definitely recommend this studio and will stay again on our next visit. The only problem was the parking, or the lack of it. 49 parking spaces for 160 units. We actually had parking at the Inn everyday except for 2. There is a paid parking lot across the street but we were told the underground parking lot was flooding due to the rain so we parked off site which can be risky, just leave your car completely empty so there is no reason for anyone to break in.
We stayed in Bill's condo for 9 days. It was very comfortable, updated and had everything that we needed during our stay. The bed came with a memory foam mattress which was great! The location is ideal for visitors who don't want to rent a car. Close proximity to all shops, restaurants and bars. The beach chairs, boogie board beach umbrella and coolers came all in handy, and were a great addition! Our flight was leaving in the evening and we were able to stay in the condo until we had to head for the airport. If we come back to Kona, we would definitely stay here again! A+
Clean condo located downtown where you can walk to everything you need. It has been renovated and is very well kept. Owner was very responsive and very helpful. Overall we had a great stay and if we make it back to Hawaii the we would love to stay here again.
Great time at this place. The location was good and it was calm. However, please note that there was always homeless people at the entrance but security was not an issue.
