Gorgeous and peaceful

  • 5 of 5

The little house was comfortable and cozy for our Autumn get-away. The property was an easy location for exploring the island and the state park. The kitchen was well-equipped and I loved enjoying the view while cooking for our group. We took time to relax on the bluff: breathing in the evergreen air, soaking up beautiful sunsets, building a fire and roasting marshmallows… a taste of camping with all the comforts of home. The caution about the cliff is legitimate! But for adults it's a great spot.

5 Stars is not enough!

  • 5 of 5

Where do I begin?!?! Let's begin with WOW! (wonderfully perfect) What's so great about this home is that each person (or couple) get their own side of the house... perfect for privacy. Both bedrooms have a queen bed and full bathroom. The living room and kitchen are at the center of the house. The photos do not do this place justice.

One night, while having a campfire, we heard splashing in the Saratoga passage. The next day we asked an expert who told us it was probably a transient Orca! Most mornings, we were entertained by Anna's hummingbirds and Stellar jays. The day we had to leave, we could see a harbor seal playing in the water. (Thanks to the owner who left binoculars!) The property is beautifully landscaped with roses and, what I think is fuchsia, to attract the hummingbirds.

Comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen, open floor plan... where do I stop?!?! Not disappointed and pleasantly surprised. LOVED IT!!!

Gorgeous view

  • 4 of 5

This was a very comfortable, well-maintained home. We enjoyed sitting on the deck as well as using the firepit at night. This was our first time on Camano Island, and we recommend this house. Beach access is nearby.

What a view

  • 5 of 5

It was a great location, well equipped with everything you need and the fire pit is a great extra (grab wood). Comfortable beds and living space with a big deal. The water is well and smells horribly sulfuric which I guess is normal per the welcome letter but this was the only downside.

Gorgeous view and gardens, perfect location

  • 5 of 5

More beautiful than I even imagined. Photos really don't do this place justice. WOW. The house is really comfy (lots of room for 4 adults), and the yard and gardens are incredible. Sitting by the fire looking out at the water was a dream. This location is perfect- quiet, but very close to a public beach where we were the only people in sight for awhile. We also loved the many great nature guides (birds, ocean life, etc). We brought our baby and that worked great, but I wouldn't recommend bringing a toddler or small child here because of the cliff. As another reviewer mentioned, it's definitely not as issue for adults though.
