good times in Asheville

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed the place - it was the perfect size for two people. Its on a really pretty piece of property, and despite being attached to someone's home felt private. The whole place felt brand new and was well equipped with better pots, pans, etc than I generally expect in a rental. It was a little farther out than I would have liked - it was at least 10 minutes to get anywhere - but that was a small price to pay. Overall, very happy with the property!

Ideal Summer Retreat

  • 5 of 5

I had an internship in Downtown Asheville this summer and finding temporary housing for me and my 80 pound dog was challenging. Enter HomeAway. The owners are nice and helpful. The property is stunning and in a great location. It was the ideal way to spend a summer.

Perfect place to stay in Asheville! (location & amenities)

  • 5 of 5

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay during our weekend in Asheville. The home was conveniently located, nothing was more than a 15 minute drive. We arrived after midnight and had a little bit of confusion entering the home, just make sure you go to the second driveway :) The home was excellent, even the pull out couch was comfortable. Everything was clean and we felt totally at home! Thanks for a great weekend!

Best,

The Allens

Not quite up to sniff.

  • 2 of 5

While the owner did leave a nice bottle of wine and some chocolate for us, we were not greeted nor did anyone ever stop by to say hello. The bed wasn't great, the cleanliness left a little to be desired, and there was a general shabbiness about the place. It was certainly adequate, but I would not stay more than a week nor will we return.

Little piece of heaven

  • 5 of 5

I was surprised how comfortable the bed was. The cottage was charming and had everything you needed. I even asked if the whole house, including cottage were for sale. Unfortunately, the answer was no. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the Asheville area. Located 10 minutes from everything!

You will love the the small town feel of Asheville with all the amenities of a larger city. It has been called the 'Paris of the South.' We are within 5 miles of downtown with nationally raved about eateries and great music at the Orange Peel and many other venues. We are home to the Moog Fest, Bele Chere, and many other great music and arts festivals. There is several museums and even a nature center with regional animals. The River Arts district is only a couple of miles away as well with over 50 professional artists working in their studios. The Blue Ridge Parkway has access to numerous hiking trails and the Pisagh National Forest is just a few miles away as well.
