Great little house - way more cozy than a hotel

  • 5 of 5

Well this was a great little house. Couch bed was SUPER comfy. They provided local beer, chocolates, and coffee. Not much signal for texting so be prepared. Bathroom sink didnt drain very well but hopefully they'll fix that. Other than that - great little place.

Watch the hidden charges tho - they advertised at $125 and $99 a night at this place but our bill for 3 nights was $641. But the privacy and beautiful home was well worth it.

Quiet & peaceful

  • 4 of 5

Nice accommodations & very comfortable bed. The location has a very nice large yard, pond & outdoor seating area.

We were evacuated due to the hurricane. Kathy was very accommodating & helpful, easing a stressful situation.

Overall this is a beautiful little place to stay.

  • 4 of 5

Plenty of room with a nice property to enjoy. The owners provided coffee, beer, and chocolate as nice welcoming gifts. I would suggest that the cleaning crew vacuum, dust , and clean the glassware a little better, but overall we would return for a future stay.

good times in Asheville

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed the place - it was the perfect size for two people. Its on a really pretty piece of property, and despite being attached to someone's home felt private. The whole place felt brand new and was well equipped with better pots, pans, etc than I generally expect in a rental. It was a little farther out than I would have liked - it was at least 10 minutes to get anywhere - but that was a small price to pay. Overall, very happy with the property!

Ideal Summer Retreat

  • 5 of 5

I had an internship in Downtown Asheville this summer and finding temporary housing for me and my 80 pound dog was challenging. Enter HomeAway. The owners are nice and helpful. The property is stunning and in a great location. It was the ideal way to spend a summer.

You will love the the small town feel of Asheville with all the amenities of a larger city. It has been called the 'Paris of the South.' We are within 5 miles of downtown with nationally raved about eateries and great music at the Orange Peel and many other venues. We are home to the Moog Fest, Bele Chere, and many other great music and arts festivals. There is several museums and even a nature center with regional animals. The River Arts district is only a couple of miles away as well with over 50 professional artists working in their studios. The Blue Ridge Parkway has access to numerous hiking trails and the Pisagh National Forest is just a few miles away as well.
