Only steps to our great beach where you can swim, boogie board , snorkel and surf.

This great condo has top floor (3rd) views, two private bedrooms and two full baths. One queen bed and two twins that are very comfortable.

You won't be disappointed. All of our guests remark about the beautiful grounds and convenient location. In winter, look for the Humpback whales jumping offshore.

In the summer, enjoy our quiet beach.

Many good restaurants within 2 blocks , Mexican, Japanese, Street Burger, pizza, Korean, 2 pastry cafes.

All seasons are fantastic at Lae nani. We have a quiet complex where you can stroll up the beach or just lounge at our heated (in winter) pool or sandy beach.

Condo has no a/c, we have the ocean breezes for cooling.

This is **THE** place to stay on Kauai! We spent 12 days here in June '13 . The property alone could be a tourist attraction! The entire grounds are a beautifully maintained botanical garden with stunning plants, flowers and trees everywhere! The condo complex is just the right size with a huge open lawn right on the beach. And, you don't have the HUGE crowds of the big commercial resorts. Many times we were on the beach, lawn and pool all by ourselves. This east side of location on Kauai has many benefits compared to the north and south locales: 1) it's much cheaper - accommodations, restaurants, groceries; 2) it's less touristy and crowded; and 3) you're more centrally located on the island to hit all the great spots with a short drive. Some east side locations can be windy, but Lae Nani is in a protected cove (look at Google maps image). It was great to have a full kitchen to cut down on eating expenses and it has an amazing view of the grounds and ocean. I don't know why people pay so much for a 'resort' hotel room when you can have a complete condo for less! An added benefit of this place is that it's completely gated so you don't have to worry about roosters making it hard to sleep (a well-known Kauai problem). Most units here are privately owned, so the condition will depend on the owner. Our unit was perfectly nice & clean . I would definitely stay there again - the price, locale and amenities are fantastic! P.S. There's a great, paved cycling path on the east coast and you can rent bikes in Wailua/Kapaa. And, a kayak trip up the Wailua river to the falls is a must!

I agree with the 5 star reviews, and would add there's a short walk down the beach to the Lava Lava Bar. Pool, tennis, and BBQ grills were excellent.

That Hit The Spot !

It's rare in this day and age that you actually get what you were promised! The pictures for this Condo do not hide anything or try to deceive you in anyway. It was perfection from the moment we walked in to the very sad moment we left. The condo was very clean, organized and provided everything we needed for our 18 day stay. Management was there when we needed him, but left us alone otherwise, the grounds keepers were busy all the time but wore smiles constantly and the security guard, John, was firm, fare and friendly while keeping all safe on the premises.

The beach was wonderfull. The sand was like course brown suger and the snorkeling never failed to introduce us to new fish, we even had the pleasure of swimming with a turtle on two occassions.

The location could not have been planned any better. The Coconut Mall was a block away and provided last minute grocery needs and all of our trinket shopping needs. We would never travel more than 15 minutes in any direction for Island shopping, sights, hiking or Bike/Canoe rentals.

The price, well worth it.

We highly recommend this oceanfront condo to anybody that truly wants to be spoiled.

Paradise! Front-row luxury seats for Kaua'i sunsets.

Beautiful, restful and picturesque setting within minutes from the airport, but without airport or highway noise to interfere with the quietude of Kaua'i! This was our first trip to this garden island, and it exceeded every expectation. We walked 100 yards to a private beach, swimming, surfing, and just drinking in the views, including sunsets from the balcony! Everyone wears a smile here! Easy drives to Poipu (25 minutes) and points north, and Princeville (40 minutes) to the northeast perimeter and all prime tourist destinations. Local Kapa'a markets and eateries give visitors a local feel, without the tourist fancy-dancy cost, but if that’s what you want, that’s close by as well!

The unit is very well furnished, with comfortable beds, complete kitchen with all the extras, and a dining area, sitting area and balcony overlooking the ocean and lush landscaping surrounding the property. A heated swimming pool is close by for winter visitors, but for us, we enjoyed the warm ocean and safe beach location. This centrally-located destination is well worth it in all respects! We want to return!

Lae Nani - Paradise!

This was our third visit to Kaua'i and this same unit at Lae Nani, and like our previous visits, this visit was also an equally wonderful experience. The first thing that we always notice is the view of the garden and ocean from the porch (lanai) windows. Even though we've seen this same view on our prior visits, it always causes both of us to catch our breath when we see it again. The view sets the tone for the entire trip by letting us know that we are no longer on the mainland... it is indeed time to relax! We love the breezes that waft from the bedroom windows and the open lanai door, enhancing the relaxing feeling at Kaua'i's near-constant temperature of roughly 79 degrees. This condo is wonderfully appointed, and has very upscale furniture. We especially love the dining room, family room and master bedroom. The kitchen is simple but has everything that we need on our vacation, and we make a point of using it for breakfast and on many nights, dinners as well. We've created some "traditions" during our Kaua'i visits, mostly revolving around sampling the island's wonderful food (and the obligatory mai tai cocktails on the lanai). While it wouldn't be possible in a luxury hotel to purchase fresh fish and side dishes at a market and then cook it back at the hotel, the Lae Nani kitchen allows us to do that easily, and then enjoy a sunset mai tai on the lanai before sitting down to dinner at the sumptuous dining table. It isn't a bad way to end a day! In fact, we look forward to it all day when we're there. Continuing on the food theme, the condo is not far from one of our favorite restaurants, Hukilau Lanai, which is only a 5-minute walk away. Lest we put on massive weight with all of this eating, we also enjoy the condo's easy access to beach running trails. The trail begins at an ancient Polynesian holy site ("heiau") located directly behind the garden and pool area. We've run as far as 5 miles north before turning back, maneuvering between property lines and a river crossing in one spot. One last key point about this place: it is perfectly located in the center/east side of Kaua'i, roughly equidistant from Poipu and Princeville. That vastly simplifies driving vs. staying on the north or south shore. Overall, we love Kaua'i and this particular Lae Nani unit as well. The condo has become part of our tradition. We give it the highest recommendation for those who want a more "real" Kaua'i experience than the luxury resorts can offer.
