Welcome to "Cassie's Cottage." Our Low Country Style updated home is a quick 10 minute walk to the "Beach Access" on Mooring Bouy and The Dunes House. This is important because The Dunes House Restaurant is a wonderful and easy place to have a hot dog or hamburger or.... use the facilities while on the beach. This makes your family "Beach Time" even more fun and convenient. We have also provided a beach wagon and portable cooler for your convenience.

Also, our home at 39 Haul Away is at the very quiet end of Haul Away's cul de sac, with little traffic and therefore, very child safe.

We have spent the last few years making improvements to the landscaping, pool surround, patio furniture and interior furniture. We've added all all new comfy outside furniture for the screened porch and deck; with new sling back chairs for the Screened Porch along with a balcony table and swivel chairs over looking the pool.

"Cassie's Cottage" offers a spacious open and sun filled Living Room with skylights, an updated and well equipped Kitchen with Granite island, bar stools, and Granite counter tops. 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths, 6 TVs with HBO, Cinemax, DVR, all provided on the Living Room Flat Screen. All other TV's have 240 channels. The second floor loft/den also has an a sofa sleeper.

There is plenty of seating around the pool and we just added a new 6 burner propane grill. The Pool area sits far far from the golf course fairway and all back yard views look out to a long view of the Robert Trent Jones Golf course. No golf balls ever come near our home.

One of our favorite places to relax is the Front Porch with 2 rockers and 2 chairs that are perfect for watching the Barred Owl who often perches in our live oak tree. On the right side of the Front Porch is an old fashion porch swing and 2 more rockers. So many great places to be comfortable and enjoy your family and friends.

The Master Bedroom on the Second Floor has just been furnished with new furniture in 2014 and has a quiet sitting area overlooking the pool.

The second Master bedroom on the first floor overlooking the front porch, has a new Queen bed and furniture and an en-suite bath. The 3rd bedroom has Twins Beds and a TV and uses the hall bath.

I have been a licensed realtor in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey with Coldwell Banker for 25 years and I have furnished our Hilton Head home to my own personal standards. You will NOT be disappointed.

We are Hilton Head homes owners previously from Franklin Lakes, New Jersey and now semi retired at the Jersey Shore. We are thrilled to own this wonderful home in Palmetto Dunes to enjoy and share with friends and family. We have been coming to Hilton Head for over 10 years...... waiting for the perfect home to summon us. Well, we were smitten and fell in love with 39 Haul Away and purchased her in July 2012. Spring Break

Second time staying there and it was great. Pool was great and the house is wonderful. Walk and rode bikes to the beach everyday. Nice quite road. I would recommend this house. Hope to stay here on our future vacations. Great communication with the owners

A Little Slice of Heaven!

While this title is somewhat cliche', I was unable to craft a more original title for this review because I feel Cassie's Cottage is HEAVENLY!! I will try to generate some reasons without reiterating many of the accurate accolades of previous reviews.

Jan, the owner, truly cares about the experiences her renters have at her home. This becomes evident as you step onto the cozy porch of the clean and adorable home that is stocked with almost anything anyone could possibly need including basic tools and a leaf blower! As mentioned by others but is worth repeating, the deck and pool area are just perfect with comfortable seating and a lovely view. Jan also responds quickly and patiently to any concerns. She fielded several texts from me with minor issues that came up during our stay and I found her to be honest, kind and understanding.

The location of this home was ideal for us as we only drove our car once in nine days. We rode our rented bikes to the grocery store, restaurants, tennis courts, beach, shops and a few historical sites. It is about 1/2 mile from Cassie's Cottage to the closest beach access. The cottage is also located in a lovely well-kept neighborhood with mature palm trees and just the right amount a shade.

Friends of ours from home were able to spend an evening with us after Jan made arrangements to have a car pass waiting at the security gate. We always felt safe and welcome in Palmetto Dunes and are glad we chose this area of Hilton Head Island.

My husband and I have three weeks at Cassie's Cottage reserved for next year, which I guess is our strongest endorsement!

Another Great Winter Vacation

This was our fourth stay at Cassies Cottage and it was just a wonderful as the previous visits.

The property is in a great location and offers many amenities. From the front porch rocking chairs to the screened porch in the back or the pool deck there are many places to relax and enjoy. Looking forward to our next visit.

Great Property!!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property! The house is tastefully and comfortably decorated and the kitchen is well stocked. My children spent most of their time in the pool and the loft while the adults spent a lot of time on the screened in porch overlooking the pool. The front porch also offers a quiet place to rock while looking for the owl that lives in the front yard trees. We were lucky enough to see the owl on our last evening. Another positive for this house is the garage under the house. It was a great place to store our beach items and bikes overnight. The house is a quick and direct bike ride to the beach and is on a quiet street. It was perfect for my two children to ride their bikes on after a trip to the beach. The owners respond quickly to questions and concerns, which shows their strong interest in making sure their guests are well taken care of. We had a very minor maintenance issue while we were there and it was dealt with extremely quickly and efficiently. I would definitely recommend this property to family and friends and would not hesitate renting this property in the future.
