Great Space

We were all very comfortable in this apartment. We also loved the neighborhood. And even though it's a ways uptown, it's located close to different subway lines, making it easy to get around. Robert was accommodating and helpful.

Great location and view

+: it is quite near (5 mn walk) to 2 subway lines (2 and 3) that will take you quite quickly to many places in Mannhattan (and Brooklyn). The view from the roofdeck is great, reaching to Times Square. The flat is pretty big and it is very calm, ensuring good sleep.

-: the overall state of maintenance and cleanliness of the appartement is no more than average. Some of the bed and bath linen had holes, the sofa is loosing its cover, the table cloth was stained.

All in all, we had quite a good time, but some maintenance would be good to make a really great place out of it!

Great apartment in a great location

We rented this nice apartment for a week for 4 people. The value / price relation was just right, the owner was also very nice, friendly and attentive. Two of us arrived in NY early AM and were permitted to check in right away which was very nice. The house is located in a nice, quiet area (great for peaceful sleeping). It was fun walking around in the neighborhood and we always felt safe even at night. We had the choice of 2 supermarkets close by with great selection of food. There is also a good choice of restaurants in walking distance. We specially liked the Safari restaurant on 116th with great Somalian dishes for a good price and the Mist restaurant with the Jamaican outdoor section close to the Harlem Market. Beside the Harlem Market is also a big Fish Market. It was easy to get around as there are a few metro stations in walking distance and the few times we used Ueber, a car was there in 1-2 minutes. We loved sitting on the roof terrace at night. The kitchen was well equipped and the living / dining area spacey. Running the stairs up and down several times a day provided a good exercise :-). We had a great time and if I would need a stay for 4 people in NY again, I would come back and not even bother looking anywhere else.

A perfect place to stay !

We have stayed at Robb's place, one week at the end of August.

We have been here for my wedding with some of my relatives. This place is awesome, enough room for everyone.

The staging is very cosy, and the balcony and the huge penthouse is just fabulous! Perfect to enjoy summer nights!

Everything works perfectly, the appartment was very clean, everything you'll need is here.

Well located near 4 subway station, 10 minutes from Central Park, in the heart of Harlem.

Even Robb was away for work, he has been reachable during all the trip.

Thanks, Robb, you've contributed to the magic of this journey.

Nous étions là pour mon mariage avec quelques proches. Cet endroit est parfait, de la place pour tout le monde.

La décoration est soignée et confortable, nous avons beaucoup aprécié les petits balcons et surtout la chambre sur la terrasse, unique, parfait pour profitez entre amis des soirées d'été!

Tout l'équipement fonctionnait parfaitement, l'appartement était très propre, tout ce vous avez besoin y est.

BIen situé, il est prêt de 4 stations de métro, à 10 minutes de Central Park, au cœur de Harlem.

Même si Robb n'a pu être présent à notre arrivée à cause du travail, il est resté joignable pendant toute la durée du séjour.

Merci à Robb d'avoir contribué à la magie de ce voyage.

Great Location

We were two couples staying in this spacious apartment for seven dayes.

The roof top terrace was perfect for that morning coffe. The location can´t be better.

Subway, grocery and restaurant just around the corner.

the property was very run down

Robb was very nice and even allowed us to arrive earlier in the day than our scheduled time as our daughter was very pregnant. The place had not been cleaned and we were more than happy to forfeit that to get in earlier. However the place was in need of more than a cleaner. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. The furniture was old and falling apart. It looked like they purchased it at a garage sale. I could go on and on about what was falling apart, but the whole place was in need of a great amount of repair. While we were there 3 of the 7 mornings we agreed to let workmen in which was inconvenient as they arrived very early and we really would have liked to have slept in. Still we were happy to since Robb was nice enough to let us in earlier that first day.

It took 6 weeks to get the damage deposit back, so bare that in mind if you feel you would like your money sooner.
